Well how much can be netcode improved? I doubt that they will magically fix floating cars and ping problems just with a optimization for netcode. It looks like base is done and it can be improved, but not that much really.

Hopefully I can be proven wrong.

I did so too, but the "old" community died a long time ago so you do not have that challenge here anymore. This sim still needs more, so fingers crossed they realize it rather sooner than later.

In my opinion this has nothing to do with drivers, it just looks like a hardware problem.

My GF had Vaio too (can't remember what type exactly) and it started doing something similar as your laptop, there were green dots all around the screen and system won't boot up (actually it boots up but you can't see or hear anything as your screen is "broken")

So in that case it was one and only option - hardware fault. This looks rather similar to me and it's 3rd Vaio now that I've seen dying the way like this.

They plan to expand the game with another Nordic map DLC, the MP is pretty active but the downside of it is that you must play mod-free game when you wanna do MP.

I still happen to relax being on ferry with a huge truck, but that's individual. Ask yourself if you like cruising in truck first and then decide. But 4.49€ for game + DLC is like for free to me.

Almost every game on PC has mods. It's great when you finish raw game and like it, you can just download bunch of mods and in most of times it's another, better game.

moddb.com is my source for finding mods, usually google puts me up right on this page.

Even if it's going to last only 5 laps I am still excited about the idea. And so must be every driver, it's another dimension from usual "boring" procedure.

Fingers crossed for the work out of this, so they can come there every year as I still don't understand why is this track used by so few FIA racing series (if any)

Feeling really sorry for GTE Pro battle, it was side by side after 18 hours of racing until failure of Aston Martin of Bruno Senna, but incredible fight till then, almost whole night and day and I just couldn't get my eyes away from it.

I love racing and I hate Audi. This year should've been Toyota's. Can't help myself. They deserved it more imo. ****ing diesel it's a cancer of racing.

Today I got the feeling that I should try rFactor 2 for the first time and in case I would like I was prepared to buy the lifetime subscription...

So I went to official rF2 site, opened up download section and started downloading demo. As soon as download ended I got this message from Chrome saying it's a malware. (attached)

I know it's obviously false alert, but I took time and went to this thread as I wanted to ask... Do you think rF2 has potential for sim-racing? Are leagues running rF1 moved to rF2? I do not have rF1 on my HDD a long time, so I don't know how it looks like now.

My point is that I wanted to "upgrade" all my sims to more modern format. i.e. rF1 to rF2, nkP to AC, Race 07 to RRRE...

Currently I have LFS, AC, RRRE, GTR2 and Race 07 installed. Do you think rF2 is worth in long-term?

I will wait for youtube vids and reviews, not gonna pre-order because I smell it could be just an ugly PS4 port same as Watch Dogs.

When I'm proven wrong then I am definitely going to my local store and buy the game. (Like literally, not just download it from TPB)

when I alt + tab to chrome and then back to AC my nvidia inspector settings suddenly stop working... i must search for booking less than 2 minutes and play with a smartphone till then otherwise I just couldn't be bothered to live with a system like this.

would be just awesome if I could use the game without desperate need of any 3rd party program just to get 2014's visual.
