If it's for work purposes, you're probably better off buying one to be honest, and taking an on-site support package along with it.
Don't know about other companies, but Dell's Business Support is next day, some others are the same, but some are Return to Base.
A Core2Duo machine with a couple of Gig of Ram should be more than good enough to run most work related software for the next 3-4 years. By which time you'd be thinking of replacing it anyway.
Norton has this listed as a significant threat, but as of the moment they don't appear to have any update to protect people against it.
Either that, or their servers are currently messed up, and have been for the last 6-7 hours.
If you're using Norton and don't want to switch to something else, you've no option but to wait for them to sort it out I'm afraid.
Had a decent race, qualified 14th (pretty high for me ), and finished 10th.
Only really had 3 incidents, 1 when I ran wide without anyone else around, and twice I messed up the final chichane, both times I was right in front of [DBP]Gael, sorry mate
Other than that my race was generally quiet, rarely close enough to the guys in front to challenge them, rarely anyone close enough behind to be challenging me. All in all good fun though
Password was working when i first connected, but after everyone leaving cause we all seemed to be lagging, can't connect to it. Keep's saying 'wrong password'.
Franky will set it up for you with the server name you chose when you signed up, and it'll show on the Master List once he's got it up and running for you.
Wasn't the Opel Omega the one with the Lotus tie-up, and would do over 200mph if you could find a straight bit of tarmac long enough? (Just very few roads were that long before a corner came along which required you to lift off the gas )
I've just watched the mpr of this, and his pedals really messed him up
We knew he was having intermitent problems with the throttle pedal, sometimes not giving him full throttle. We thought it was fixed, but reckoned we could live with it if it re-occured mid-race (he'd simply be a little slower, and we're off the pace of most of the field anyway :P )
On this occassion though, mid-way down the straight, his brake went full on, and wouldn't go off, so it was basically like he'd thrown an anchor out the car.
We'll make sure this is fixed for the next race, most likely by replacing those wheel/pedals. Looks like they are seriously faulty.
Yep, that's the incident I was talking about earlier.
His car basically stopped responding, and stopped. Unfortunately, there was 3 or 4 cars right behind him and you ended up running right into him
Once again, sorry
Apologies to whichever car ran into the back of us (#22) on the start finish straight a few laps ago.
We had a controller problem, and the car basically stopped responding to the wheel/pedals
Seems to be working ok again now, but we're looking into a possible driver swap before the end anyway, just to avoid it happening again.
