ok...sounds like a gd idea. I use Norton 360 so i dont normally get firewall popups....will try in admin mode...cheers


Ok its solved...i didnt think using it as admin would make any difference tbf, and it also expected me to save skins for the second time when using as admin...oh well...just hope i dont have to use as admin everytime, i know you can cancel admin thing but its not really an option

Just downloaded patch x, cant wait to start but i have a problem

It just will not unlock and shows the error shown below.

OS is Vista Home Premium, and i understand there has been a few problems with vista and lfs. I even had to follow a link due to vista not liking the auto uploaded.


Help anyone? (Btw sorry if this has already been posted, i had a quick scan first tho)

Ok, i think it easy to say...people have there own opinions...so lets not critise them and get on with using the game how we want to.

If your so fed up with no one racing and everyone on C&R and so on...go race and dont start threads saying C&R servers are the cause and you have the solution and so on etc.


Instead of trying to argue which is right, lets just get on with it...

In my eyes, its my money i spent, i will do what i want with it.

Its the community within LFS that i got S2 for, i cant be had with racing whenever im on LFS, gets repetitive...and when i race as a hobby in "real" life, i like to get my mind out of it.

City Servers are far more relaxed, usually dont have people ranting and so on because u took a more agressive line.

I enjoyed it so much and became part of the team that runs 3 servers. Most servers are always full and people never complain, most just pop in after a race or series.

I see it as a way to get out of the hastle or racing life and relax.

Obviously this would be a great addition. Of course its would be mainly for racing side of the game, and would solve many problems with cheats, just like the tyre walls. Also these are used in real circuits across the world and its a shame these are not in the game. I have noticed though that rumble stripes, as there called usually, are used perminantly on one of the tracks. So if these are already in the game surely they could be edited.

So i agree with the idea, as it has so many pluses for all sorts of LFS uses and not just racing! 10/10!
