I only tried connecting to the one server in my favourites , I know for a fact there is no demo version of it .The server is -= SGS LFS Server =- , I also noticed it happens only when I start up BFS the first time ,after I switch modes in LFS and connect again through BFS without closing it,it works fine

EDIT:Will try some random servers when I get home to see if it happens to them as well

Hey I have a weird bug , if I join a favourite server it sometimes tries to connect in demo mode , altho it's a s2 server , I then have to switch modes and connect from lfs again

Fully agree with that , I race alot against cmckowen and most of the times he's faster , if I do however find myself in front of him in a race I WILL fight tooth and nail to keep my position , he knows that by now , and we respect each other for that . If I get a blue flag however I will move out of the way as soon as it's safe to do so

Yeah , saw it too , was very disappointed . I understand that the people were not there to promote LFS , but surely if you going to display the power of your new Intel processor at least run the game you are displaying in all its glory . I also heard that it was even worse the day before because they ran LFS with onboard Gfx and it was stuttering etc . They not only did LFS a disservice but Intel too.

Same problem here , only normal graphs get generated and then the program crashes , here is my tsv file .

P.S .Net framework 2.0 is installed

I saw a very interesting program the other day on TV where they showed how racing drivers prepare for a race mentally and also what mental exercises they do to help them perform in the race .

One of the techniques was some exercises which made the left and right brain talk to each other and thus improving reflexes etc . The other was off course to visualize the whole track , every corner , every braking point etc , and do that over and over in your mind . This creates "shortcuts" in you brain so that your brain has to do less processing to actually perform a certain task .

So I decided ,"hey I'm going to try this" , I visualized KY National in the FOX over in over in my mind , each time in more detail . I went out and promptly drove a pb on the track

It could have been coincidence, but I drove a crap load of laps before I tried this.



I guess this technique can also improve concentration as your brain don’t work as hard to perform all the tasks .

Really great job so far , just one very small thing I noticed , when I have to exit LFS for some odd reason (like forgot to plug in the wheel) after I launched lfs with this app , the launch buton is gone , so one has to exit lfs companion and start that again as well .

You could also get the track name out of InSim using the StatePack, where the track name is listed as a 6 byte char array. So it shouldnt be too tricky for someone to do tbh.

I was fooling around in NkPro today when one of my WLM (MSN) buddies pointed out to me that he can see that I'm playing nkpro and also what car and track I was on ( see pic below) . I tried it with LFS but it did'nt work. Don't know how nkpro does that but it would be kinda cool for LFS to do that as well , even display server info if at all possible , maybe even integrate with join2lfs (not sure what the functionality is of WLM)

A pitboard option would be groovy , can already see everybody driving close to the pitwall to read the pit board . I would also love to see some sort of times being displayed during practice sessions .

I'm not sure if this is a compatible request or not... . Is it possible to split qualifying from practice to give some sort of structure to a race event . E.g you'll set praccy time of 60 min , then seperatley quali time of 15 and then your race distance . So in praccy if you vote to qualify you move onto the set quali time and from there to the race .

If above is not possible , maybe to display times in praccy mode like in quali ?

Is there a list of all the template words ? . I dont see it in the readme , or do the csv template contain all the possible template words already ?
