Yeah, the pedalcovers are alu, but the rest of it is all plastic. They look exectly the same as my Thrustmaster F1 FF - pedals.
I have fixed the pedals bottom plate with a solid sheet of aluminium, cause the plastic couldn't stand my abuse... Inside are el cheapo pots, that need some electrospray once in a while....
It's my second Thrustmaster wheel and overall I think it's ok for the money, but nothing special. (ab)Used it for two years now, it seems to get tired....
Just yesterday one of the wheelpaddle-springs broke, I just hope i can fix it because no money for a new wheel atm.
I don't trust-master on higher quality standards with their new wheel, but hope to be surprised one day.....
I am having graphic problems, I see simple cars w.o. driver....see att.
Not all the time, only on a distance. when cars are closer, the drivers pop back in again and cars become normal again...
This was on Fe Club, with a full grid.
On another track, like BL carpark everything looks perfect no oddities...
Already checked temps and drivers; looks ok. Haven't got the latest videodrivers tough. Nvidea 6.6.8.1. on a 6600GT card
I 've had the same problem with the exact same wheel....
Check if the gas paddle behind the wheel works allright. If so, then be sure the 'gaspedal pot' in your pedal set is your source of problems..
In my case the pot (the adjustable resistor attached to the gas pedal) needed cleaning...just unscrew the bottom of the pedalset and use some cleaning spray (for cleaning contacts) inside the pot thingy...
