Hi all!

I am having graphic problems, I see simple cars w.o. driver....see att.
Not all the time, only on a distance. when cars are closer, the drivers pop back in again and cars become normal again...
This was on Fe Club, with a full grid.

On another track, like BL carpark everything looks perfect no oddities...

Already checked temps and drivers; looks ok. Haven't got the latest videodrivers tough. Nvidea 6.6.8.1. on a 6600GT card

Does anyone have an idea of what is going on??

Under the graphics options in LFS make sure LOD (level of detail) reduction is set to minimum, your card should cope fine. That should sort it.

Tried it, turned down everything with lod on it but no change....

As I've said, on BL carpark it runs fine, also tried KY and guess what....

Again those ugly cars...

Is my Graphics card going down?? Never overclocked it and cooling runs fine, max 55 C.

What's going on??

No thats not the problem. I have a 6600GT and yer about 55 degrees max sounds baout right, thats not too hot for it.

Ah just realised, I meant to say turn the LOD sliders up. Sorry, try that see if it works.

Hey, you were right, after all!!

Missed it first, but on reexamining all menus i found it
It is the dynamic lod setting under misc. Set to 0 and things are fine..

Ah thats what it was. I thought there was a dynamic LOD reduction slider, but I couldn't find it. Sometimes I fell some of the options are put in the wrong tabs, surely that comes under 'graphics'. Ah well.
