yea, I've been playing (on and off) LFS since the betas (before S1 came out). It's just that I don't always play due to school load etc etc.

Do you guys have any tips for driving the BMW FB02 using mouse around blackwood.

My pb is capped at 1:15.33 and I can't seem to hit the 1:14

Obviously it's impossible to module the gas and brake pedal, so I was wondering what kind of driving techniques are handy for mouse users.

I've been having a lot of trouble finding a good server with lots of racing. I'm in the Western Canada Time zone. I was hoping to make a few friends to go out and race with that have a 1:15.xx pb on blackwood since my laptop cant handle too many cars on the track at once.

I just disabled fps limiter and I seem to get like an extra .6-1 fps.

I also tried using widescreen mode, but it doesn't really help much either.

I have a laptop and it's not the best specs. I was wondering what kind of tweaks you can do to lfs to get the best frame rate possible. I don't want to lower the resolution as it looks like ass on my WXGA lcd.

This was something that I THOUGHT was unusual in lfs, so I decided to post it.

No mean to "self pimp" myself. My life has been demanding so many things these days, and self pimping would be teh last on teh list.

Guess I should've posted this in teh screenshot section. I've only been on this forum like twice, so I sord of just did a random act by posting this video here.

I'm trying to host a server, but it never seems to work

I've opened up the right port according to teh right ip in my router

but my friend can either not find the server on teh server list, or he just times out while attempting to connect

we both have the same lfs version

for a sec, i felt special

I came up super close behind someone.

I over take him, and brake late and hard.

my front wheels started to lock up, while I was flooring the gas.

the front wheels locked up while the rear wheels kept spinning and I ended up drift passing this dude.

this is more of a modified verson of what i was doing before

basically, i added another line called extern Outgauge Gauge
in the upinsim.H header file

and then i tried to print out the Gear instead of printing out the laps

I also added some memory thing in the Insim.cpp file

I have very little programming experience

I'm trying to get outgauge to work
so far, I was able to enable outgauge by sending the right ID packet to lfs
and i get a outgauge enabled message in lfs

i've added the structure and variables in the app.h header file
and in main, I've declared the strcutre
but when I try to print out gear or rpm from the structure, i always get 0
in the program message

help?
