Quote from Rebeldevil :THIS is a tough question..only one car on only one track..there are so many wonderful cars, and so many wonderful courses I don't know if I could pick just one.

For that matter, I think it'd be great fun to drive a Lancia STRATOS around the Nordschliefe. I know it's a completely unforgiving vehicle and it'd probably cost me my life, but at least I'd die doing what I wanted.

Very well said! I'll come and join you for the Stratos Race with another Stratos or a S4

Erm...just imagine this car doing a 50m jump in the Rally of 1000 lakes in Finnland...This thing is so heavy that it flats out every hill and jump on his way

A Lancia Delta S4 or the Integrale on Pikes Peak (with the old part of the start, not the new one with the new built road)
Oh that would be awesome =)

Quote from [RCG]Boosted :either that, or he was drafting u (or some1 else)

Forgot about to post in here
He was just behind another car and I didn't know that drafting was now included in the newer versions (played not about a long period)
so everything's clear now

I read this on WRC yesterday and couldn't really believe it. But I only see it on tarmac rallies. Offroad? No way!

Buy the S2...I played a lot on demo servers and it's funny but you soon you get bored or frustrated about some childish behaviour or you just want to have some new cars or tracks.

I like races where I start in the 20th position from the box and end up as 5th or 4th because half of the players will crash themselves and the other I can overtake =)

I really guess you have kicked some big ego with your good driving and behaving and that's the reason.

It's sad that's the way the world often works

Francesco Antonucci is the New World champ !
One of my friends finished 4 after starting 23 ! He was 6/10's faster than the winner !

Wow, so your friend has to be pretty skilled or just the owner of the track
I wish him good luck and hope to see him in some faster cars

Quote from Blackout :That just doesn't make any sense...

Nor does your face

Sorry, I had to do that quote. I was waiting about half an year until someone says that. But I don't really have something again your face so don't take it personal

I really don't like the big SUV's. In a town near of mine someone owns a H2 and if he parks it he uses the whole sidewalk and half of the street...sucks pretty much.
And I still don't see any sense for someone who lives in a city to such a SUV. It's dangerous for all the other participants of the traffic :/

Quote from deggis :Huru, you're wrong

http://youtube.com/watch?v=mD_vM3TbIyc

This 3 minute clip is from "Too Fast To Race" document, includes Ferrari & Jaguar:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORjfWWydY3c

What does the guy in the first video exactly say?

And if I understood the second video correctly, Ferrari only wanted to challenge Jaguar and Peugeot on tarmac events like Korsika or in long distance GT runs...

Quote from turbo4door :Wow! Way to trash my thread. Thanks!

anyway, to those who are interested, I drive a 2002 WRX Sedan

To go back to the topic:

Tell something about the track? How lang? What was the ground like? Gravel, dirt and so on =)

And please post some pictures of the car and the track if possible.

Quote from frokki :In a Finnish document film (propably "Group-B - The Supercars Era") Henri Toivonen's co-driver told that they actually drove coulple of races with a Ferrari 308 GTB (Rallye di San Marino in 1983 at least). I remember him saying that it was an awesome fast car, but it didn't have the abilities to slow down or turn.

Ok, but that fits with all the Group B cars...they were made to accelerate and not to go fast around corners
