imho there would be several options:

1. reading over the answers already given in the other thread...

2. opening MORE threads with the same questions but with more shouting.

Have you ever uploaded a single hotlap? Obviuosly not, because then you would have seen what a 'frankly dumb naming' system LFS is using.

Doesn't work for me. I probably only have 5 online pb's in total so that's not working.

I chose 'hotlapping' and when I'm in the garage I type 't' and then '/w pb' and nothing is shown in the chat history, '/w wr' doesn't work either in the garage preparing a hotlap...

(and my PC has internet access 24|7)

edit: maybe I haven't made clear enough what I mean. It's just, I'm spending roughly 99,8423% of my time in LFS hotlapping, so all online ingame solutions won't work for me. It's just that I don't see the need of learning all track2trackcode combinations by heart to avoid the 'go back and check again for the 3-letter trackcode to be able to select the appropriate setup procedure' when it could be solved by showing the 3-letter trackcode in the garage - Scawen Sir, please... (do you hear me?)

But all these commands wouldn't help you in the garage setting up for a hotlap...

The only (simple) solution would be to add the '3 letter track code' to the garage info.

mmmh, another thing would be nice: a special hotlap-setup slot for each car/track to be loaded automatically when in hotlapping mode...

That would wipe away any language problems....

edit: I guess it's somehow a normal behaviour of LFS because the AI's are not allowed to pit in the first lap...?

Reduced stray pixels at edges of textures
Improved the colours of various language flags
Antialiased virtual start lights and steering guage

I was one lucky guy to get an eee-PC, as it was released today here in germany... (for EUR299)

specs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASUS_Eee_PC

The device (which is nice) comes with a xandros linux derivate but asus provides all drivers to run it with xp sp2. I was just wondering if anyone has tried to run LFS on it as it has been released in other countries some time before...
