In that order? I usually fiddle camber and tyre pressure to start with and then start worrying about balance. Sometimes you need to go back and tweak if you dramatically change the ride height but if you do it afterwards you have to fiddle the balance of the car all over again.
The correct answer to that question is, in fact, "yes". Just because the cars aren't real doesn't mean that the team itself isn't real. Once you've got her out to dinner you can explain that the cars are simulated. If she complains, tell her how shallow she is, that you were hoping for a relationship based on something less superficial and stalk off in a huff. The next day at work could be...interesting.
Oh, and for "these positions won't line up" in Photoshop, I set a macro to save as a particular filename and bind it to an easy key to whack (mine is F3), then use the 'nudge' tool with the cursor keys. Nudge, save, refresh in the viewer. Repeat as needed.
Weird...a suggestion for future consideration though. To avoid file compatibility issues, reduce file size and allow people to see things from more than one angle, just post the mpr file.
I regularly take it easy into T1 AND move up places. How? Slow in, fast out. Everyone else is piling into the corner as late and hard on the brakes as they can get. Fine. I sit wide and let them play maybe, maybe not games with the sand trap while I line up a late apex for a good exit speed and blast up the inside while they're strung out on the outside of the corner and can't do a thing about it. The ones I don't pass on the corner exit are the ones I get a good run on out of the corner and pick up the draft on down the next straight. I'm not super fast, in fact I'm usually a second or two per lap down on the guys who race in teams like SCR or PR but I can usually get ok results by the end of the race.
I really like racing with a fair bit of GENTLE contact. Light nudging that doesn't bump people off the track is a lot of fun, but it actually requires a hell of a lot of racing courtesy, driving skill and you still have the issue of lag bounce. Pity really. Smacking people in the rear quarter to turn them around because you can't overtake any other way is pathetic though.
Gulf Racing Livery skin...I can't believe I'm the first to post one! Kinda funny with this one; I never got to upload it to LFS World as I'd posted it on the old forum and someone had already posted the skin! An extra slot for me, so I don't mind
This is the first skin I ever made, adapted to S2 as I've grown far too attached to it go get rid of it. I'll make up some screenshots for the skins that don't have them eventually. Unless someone wants to do a full render
New forum, time to repost everything! Here's my gelati skin, which I've wound up adapting to all the open wheelers (lx cars are not open wheeled, before some smartarse calls me on it :haha: ) I've also done a matching helmet, given that these are the cars in which the helmet is most visible. It started life as an S1 MRT skin.
