thanks for all the positive comments. its suprising to see that this interior is actuallly quite suited to fit the g25 peripherals to, everything just seemed to work for some reason, i was expecting alot of headaches.

In regards to guages...you have no idea how much i want them to function. Unfortanately i have absolutely no idea on how to do it so it wont be getting done (for now at least). I will probably eventually get them to light up at least, i dont see that as too hard, but that can wait till its painted etc.

And those holes i want to fill in, ill probably place the button pad in there, and maybe the volume control.

I made this specifiacally for the XRR in mind. Ive made the car sound similar to a rotary in teh game, so i used an rx7 interior (being a rotary fanatic). Unfortunately i have to stick to the the old version now so i can get more use out of my cockpit

still need to do carpet and mount the seat, probaly hook it up tomorrow to test it. but it feels great atm Btw the shifter knob is the handle of a fishing rod lol. its just temporary as i need a light weight shifter.

Im dying to try out new patch, havent been able to as ive ripped apart teh g25 to make this

the reason i bought the g25 was because of this game, and my fav car is the XRR. Unfortanetely ill be sticking the the lsat version now as i hate sequential, i'd rather stick with H pattern and clutch and be slightly slower than everyone esle in the race, than drive sequential. Im playing this game for the fun factor, and to me, the shifter is a big part of that. I hope at teh very least an option to have H shift is brought in to all the GTR cars. Single seaters can remain sequential. However i'd prefer the rest to at least have a user option

from all the vids ive seen, the movement of the shifter seems too "angled", by that i mean it has too much movement for such a small height, just looks unrealistic. Do they actually feel that way?

I meant a instrument cluster out of a REAL car working in sync with the game.

The cockpit im making will be using a 94 model Mazda Rx7 interior, I want the gauges to work to what the game is doing.

I've seen some video's of people having real car gauges working with LFS. I've tried searching, but i want to know how its done, or is it basically pointless trying to explain it to someone with not much computer knowledge. Do you need to be a programmer and electrical genius to know what to do?

Im about to start making a cockpit for the game using a real car interior and it would help finish off the effect!

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated

even though i never use the sequential control, i would still prefer it to work, for the just in case times.

Just wondering how hard it is to open the shifter from the g25.
Im buying a dash and centre console from a real car to make a cockpit. I want the g25 shifter in the correct position, however because the button panel is angle up it will ruin the looks of the cockpit. Would be hard to seperate the shifter mechanism from the button panel yet still have it all working as is?

ok thanks for that, didnt know you could upload files on here....anyway there it is....it can obviously be changed to suit tastes, but i think this sounds best!....just like any rotary should

Hey guys, i have edited the sound of the XRR to sound very close to a real rotary. If anyone else wants this i need instructions on how host it as i have no idea on how to do it.

DOnt know if its already been mentioned, but any of teh older mazda rotaries would be great if they could be implemented into the game. If the exact sound could be reproduced id buy the license two times over

I was going to create another thread about this but noticed this one. I desperately want this feature returned. It jsut feels too artificial without it. An option in the menu would be perfect as it will keep everyone happy. I poiinted this feature out to my brother as i was playing it, and he was impressed that it had it aswell. PLEASE BRING IT BACK

I have this sound, and i would love to have the wastegate sound at the end of the clip as a dumpvalve.raw file.

If you could take off the car revving and just have the wastegate sound at the end. I think alot of ppl ould like to have this as there bov in teh game
