Release please I Can't wait

Server has been up and populated for most of the time, come along and join in the fun

Insim has had many bugs fixed and is in constant development, and we may be recruiting fairly soon.

Well, that put this thread off to a bad start :S

Anyway, we have just fixed some major bugs in the insim, and our server has had between 10-20 connections all week, so for a new server, i would say we are doing pretty well.

It might be possible, but i wouldnt recommend trying it. Find an old copy of S1, (there are some lurking on the net) and try replacing the blackwood.wld file in your wld folder with the one from S1. I dont guarantee anything though

There is a mod out there, but even if you found it you couldn't use it

Just to prove a point - I posted the same request on the TC forum, and within one day i had two people who've already made them. Here, all i get is a bunch of bollocks

Thanks for all the help...when i saw replies to this thread i thought someone might actually have come up with a useful reply. But then again, this is LFSforum, so i shouldn't have got my hopes up.

Hi, can someone make me a stock 2001 mustang with the grilles, badges, extra lights, trims etc. I tried myself, and it is not pretty. I am currently working on new light DDS files for a 2001 mustang, so the complete skin would be great.

many reasons not to let this go ahead..

• Uploading dds file would be end up with skinfiles becoming too large. For any decent resolution (at least 1024x1024) the dds file need to be larger than 2mb.
  
• The 'bug' itself causes really ugly graphic glitches (missing polygon sides) which wouldn't look professional in a comlpeted product.
  
• The sunroofs/invisible panels are not see through from the interior views.

And you diehard racers, you seem to have a very low opinion of cruisers. We are not all 1337 noobs, and there is just as much skill in being a good cop as there is in being a good driver. If you don't like cruising, switch your cruise filter off, and dont look/post in cruise related threads. It's that simple, and there is no reason to take the piss out of cruisers. We have all paid for S2, just as you have done, so please, dont treat us like a bunch of morons

@hazaky - Its people like you that give cruisers a bad name, deliberately testing admins so they ban you, and then calling them unfair and smartass when they ban you? No wonder some people think cruisers are morons because of people like you.

Here are my RB4 and FXO sets, they are very fast around the cruise server, and i don't see why they couldn't be used to race as well. These sets were created entirely by me, not adapted from setupgrid.

A lot of people complain about the low resolution RB4 and FXO interiors, and i see many people saying that the dev's have better things to do than make pretty interiors.

My suggestion is, is that the dev's hold a contest where people submit their own made FXO and RB4 interiors, and the winners will have their interiors added to the next patch
