Oh yeah. This is true The only drawback is that rewind function which isn't great for endurance race replays.

Quote from luchian :Hi Seniecka,
Thanks for the kind words. What I love about LFS movie making it's this total freedom and control over the camera's movement. If one wishes to hone his skills in movie making (auto themed), LFS's a great enviroment.

I agree. I've tried capturing action on various simracing platforms, but I find LFS all that camera movement and replay system as the best developed one.

Hi Luchian,

5 stars. Why? Because of it's simplicity, elegant capture of the action, which was showed in every single detail. Technically it is not perfect or challenging, but damn - artistically it's top notch, I think. You can't really express it in words, you have to feel it. Somehow, that minor sounding beautiful piece of music just dances with that shown action. Perfect match.

Great to see your video project, Luchian I've already noticed that you are pretty active in LFS Movie section, commenting videos on constructive basis. It looked to me that you know what you talk, and now you proved it by materializing your ideas into such nice project. Congrats!

Keep it up. This was a moving project.

Orchestral kinda thing. Sounds pretty

Nice one. I like the strings part. Really well arranged, meanwhile the piano lacks of more flexible pattern. Despite of that, the basis of the song is really good

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. That's I can say, folks. We constantly are getting updated with the best cars in the world, as this one, for no charge (well, up to this moment). There is no need to complain about this case. We just need to be thankful to Kunos Simulazioni for doing tremendous job keeping us occupied with many cars and tracks. The quantity is good, especially when it's solid. Win-win scenario.

Quote from atledreier :Undriveable? It's bloody brilliant, and one of the most easily chuckable hypercars I've tried in a sim. I can see this becoming my new drifting favourite.. :-)

Obviously it's drivable, he just expressed to enforce the impression how hard is to control the car.

@Boris, nice video edit (like a variety of camera angles) and driving

TOCA 2 takes me back, like 10-12 years back at least. I remember those times when Sega Mega Drive 2 and other consoles with casettes and 8bit games just ruled the game market (yeah, I know, PS2 was already released back in 2000, but in Lithuania at least PS2 and that high end gaming experience was still a rare phenomenon, so 8bit gaming ruled), and suddenly my cousin bought a brand new ps1 with TOCA 2. That graphics, car handling, onboard camera, tyre marks and debris on the track made a huge impression to me. I was in such an awe. I remember driving along with cousin hours and hours TOCA2. It simply was ground shaking gaming experience that I will never forget.

Quote from Töki (HUN) :Are you really that stupid? Divebomb? DUDE. His rear brakes were not working, do you understand that? And you know, if your brakes are not working you can't stop the car. Blame it on the Japanese people, oh right! Who's insulting who now?

The stupid who overreacted was you, not Pringles.

Oh, yeah.. F-1 car just has rear brakes. Suure... Ok, obviously he did not know about his rear brakes' condition, it doesn't change the fact he should have acted more cautiously during very busy traffic at T1. As far I am concerned rear brakes aren't that effective as front ones, anyways. It's just a big shame he ruined Felipe's debut with Williams.

We all know japanese driving mentality. I don't isult japanese drivers, it's just the way they drive. They earned that image. No need to mix the colors.

And no, I did not overreact. Is that hard to start a normal objective conversation, starting 'sorry I disagree' and statement continues. No, of course, need to put some drama here, as in any LFSForum thread and start shooting at people, that later leads to a couple of new thread pages conversation.

@Pringles, yes it might be. Before I've made a statement, I did not see anywhere Kamui's apologise and further explanation on the case. After a while, I've noticed a leaked photo of his twitter in one of F-1 fan pages on facebook.

Quote from NotAnIllusion :It was rear brake failure, not driver error. I mean, c'mon you Lithuanian. Just let Lithuanian post and this what you get.

I always hate when some stupids overreact and come to instult you personally for no reason. Seriously?
As a specator, I just expressed my view on the case. I've stated it before an actual explanation from Kamui came out. Despite of that, it doesn't change the fact you can't simply divebomb into the bunch of cars, especially when brakes are cold. You need to keep the distance, and it's not the first time when japanese drivers do that. Call it stereotypical, but it's the way it is. T. Sato acted in such way, K. Nakajima as well, now Kamui's turn. They are simply too agressive.

Roland, you can badum tss in your ass.

Really happy to see McLaren in front, as my favorite team. Incredible job has been done by Kevin. Kevin's case is similar to 2007 Lewis' case. 4th in qual, third in race. Just amazing. He has driven flawlessly all race long. No mistakes. Totally focused on. Happy for Jenson as well, of course, but not really satisfied with his performance. He did not have such raw speed as Kevin did, and basically he climbed up the grid after pit stop procedures. This is what me worries. You can't expect doing great race by race if you don't have the speed on your own.

Sad for my favorite Lewis. Somehow I got a bad feeling before the race that he might struggle in this race, and he obviously struggled really bad. Felipe is such a unfortune, as well. I mean, c'mon that japanese.. Just bring back japanese and that's what you get. Really wanted to see how Felipe debuts in new team and is he capable of doing great with Williams, as Bottas really did today. What a magnificent drive. When he hit that wall, I thought: "shit, that's it, it's over, and why it happened after all that success. I thought suspension is broken, but no - he came back to the pits, changed the set, managed doing great laptimes, catching up guys and overtaking them. Impressive. It looks like Williams are in very good shape. Even now after just a single race they scored more points that in all previous season long. LOL.

Red Bull is fine. Nothing to worry about. They have the pace and are as quick as McLaren, Williams, Ferrari, obviously not as good as Mercedes, meanwhile, Mercs are amazingly fast, they took the relay from Red Bull.

Sound is amazing and I like it very much. The new regulations are Much more of close fights. That's what we want to see.

Quote from The Moose :Indeed. Hardly any mention of his performance on Sky TV so far, but his was probably the drive of the session for me. Awesome job for his first qual session.

Delighted to see Lewis on pole. Nice to see Daniel 2nd, just for the crowd reaction Cant stand Ferrari, so happy to see one of them out in Q2. Always great to see a Vettel fail.

Overall that was hugely entertaining. Lets hope the race is as exciting.

+1. Can't be said better.

Ok, my thoughts after watching the first two practice sessions.

1) Sound. It's really decent, nice, and yet has it's special characteristic. Well, passing-by sound is not that spectacular, and much less noisy, but that turbo sound at braking points partly covers that lack of V8 roaring. Meanwhile, an onboard sound is another talk - it's as powerful and characteristic as V8 onboard sound, just in its special way. I find that lower range sound a bit more powerful that V8 high range sound.

2) Dick noses. Well the title says it all. In terms of aesthetics, the cars are silly now. Well, it was already widely covered by media and fans, but seriously what the hell with Lotus fron wing, for an example. Still a mystery for me.

3 Performance. It's looks like Mercedes are a team Nr.1 currently, meanwhile the second is Ferrari, third Williams, and 4-th place is between McLaren and Red Bull at his moment. I think Red Bulls all that fuss was for nothing. They definitely ain't that bad, as described themselves before the championship kicked-in.

4) Rookies. Kevin Magnussen clearly feels the pressure, yet isn't well comfortable with the car, as long we can see him drive at least 0,5 sec slower than Button, and drives often off the track. Daniil Kvyat did not impress me with his driving this morning. A lot of off track driving, can't even simply let other drivers pass him. He is very strained and a bit lost in the traffic. Hopefully he will get better.

Stop talking nonsense, people. I am actually really interested in how people even from the other side of the planet act like they know geopolitics of Eastern Europe very well. Let me make it clear for you: overthrown **** Ukraine's president was a dumbass, who had no skills, no orientation in geopolitics and couldn't do a shit to put Ukraine into a progression. V. Putin being a total ****, but way more clever than the former ****, manipulated Yanukovych and was actually gettin Ukraine more, and more close to its collapsion due to actions, dictated by Kremlin and took by Ukraine's finest idiot.
Luckily, bright minds have come into the play and Yanukovych got eliminated. No way the current new government is neo-nazi, neither is fascist. Why the **** that government should be called like this? Just because they turned down the communist, mankurt government? Let me remind you something. What about 90's era of uprisings of nations that declared a desire to be free from Soviet Union and start their own countries. Fortunately, they all together finally turned down Soviet Union and became free. So, let me ask? Should all those nations be called neo-nazies or fascists? Because some of yours statements makes me think that Central-Eastern Europe is full of neo-nazies, or fascists. Just stop, please. This is a ridiculous scenario and makes no sense. All I see nowadays that happens with Ukraine is the same scenario, related to those 90's uprisings - the bright minded Ukrainian citizens wants to get free from Russia. I don't see nothing wrong in that.

OK normal english for you then; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sevastopol

What is your point, smartass? Crimean War? Searching for parallels or something? Russians were at all times aggressors, who practiced imperialistic politics, conquering foreign cultures, assimilating them. Is this some kind of normal thing? No. Some of you stated that Russia acts according to the all international acts and they are in Ukraine legally? Go and wash you head. There is no question that Russia is aggressor, acting like a criminal and laughing to all world's face. Well, it's a russian thing for which Russia is known for ages, acting silly and illegally. Barbarians.

I wonder why shifting animations are off in Lotus T125. When you change a gear, nothing happens. Also, I wonder when brake discs animation also occurs. I miss those shiny brake discs when you do brake really badly.

Quote from CodeLyoko1 :here is the set I quickly made for a 1:45.7

Nice setup there. I improved my PB immediately by over 1 sec. Now I did in 1:45.076 with plenty of room to improve, 'cos i basically missed the whole corner, not entering apex at all.

Nürburgring is really well scanned. It's the best version of all this track versions I've driven.
Lotus Exos 125 is freaking fun, yet challenging to drive. KS once again proves that they are very aware of physics for each particular car. They know that open-wheelers has enormous grip level and if you do enter the corner right, even with default setup, it turns so well and the grip is so big, that you even can get really early on the throttle. So yeah, Boris, it's not the problem of default setup, it's a racer's problems, so it's yours. The turning depends on how you enter the corner what lines do you use. I've maybe 20 laps already around the cuircuit with Lotus Exos T125 and in many case I went off the track because of bad entry, so it took me some time to get used with the track and the car, and with default I did 1.46.2, and it's easy to do 1.45, 'cos I still miss some apexes, and loosing time there and there, so it feels like I can do 1.45 if I focus more on the lap.
Cheers.
