It has been proven that children respond well to colors(especially bright colors). When I was little, I was aware that fake guns had blaze orange on the tip.
Safety, granted, we don't use the gun lock unless there are children in the house(the youngest person living here is 16(my sister) and she knows how to handle firearms, safety, etc) This may sound a bit paranoidish, but if there's armed intruders in your house, and you run to get your firearm, and the ammo is in another part of the house, it's not much use if deadly force is needed. The blanks just give you an extra layer of safety (accidental firings, etc) and like somebody said, could scare an intruder. I also have a rifle in my room with ammo nearby, like I would ever have to use it, but it's there just in case. (and yes it's locked)
No, but they sell black Wii controllers, which makes sense when you see the black gun, but seriously, the company should be punished. If I recall, it's illegal to NOT have blaze orange on the tip of a toy firearm.
EDIT: nevermind, apparantly they do make black Wiis, just not in the USA, my bad.
What kind of Wii controller component company doesn't paint the end of the Wii "gun" orange? I mean, if it was, the girl could've easily identified the Wii gun as having a red tip, and would have never messed with the gun in the first place. I agree that the guy is retarded for having a LOADED gun in the living room. We have a loaded pistol on the top floor of our closet, but you have to unlock the trigger lock, cock it, and the first 3 rounds are blanks.
The same thing could have happened in the Hamlin/Keslowski incident as well, it's just a matter of how things turned out. In the end, everybody that does it is pushing quarterpanels, what happens after that is completely different.
I agree that it was a stupid move, but they didn't suspend Hamlin for intentionally wrecking Keslowski, or Montoya intentionally wrecking Stewart in the Homestead race. It's all just anger caused by close racing.
I went to the IRL Richmond race this past summer, unfortunately, they took Richmond off the schedule . It was a really fun experience, I'm a huge NASCAR fan, go to all of the Richmond races, and I am kinda surprised that they sounded so much louder and (in some ways) better than COT's. Unfortunately, the shortness of Richmond(which we all know creates great races in NASCAR) didn't help IRL that much. There was a total of like 3 passes the whole damn race, and maybe 2 wrecks(single car spins of course....) It was great seeing the cars, experiencing the piercing shriek of their little V8's bouncing around the grandstands, but the racing unfortunately wasn't that great.
If other people think I am, then I guess I am, everybody is racist if you think about it, there's just varying levels of hypocrisy, once people realize that, everything will be just dandy.
lol you think black people are the only ones who had a "tough" history, There are none alive that even experienced slavery(in the US that is), so they can't use that excuse anymore, seeing as no white people are old enough to experience slavery either. I hate when people feel like we "owe" them something, just because people enslaved them over a hundred years ago (a time when none of my relatives lived in the US..)
Well the same thing goes for any type of sim. For instance(in real life), trees alongside the track keep flashing sunlight in your eyes which gives you a seizure, and you hit the wall and die. Can't really replicate that in a sim realistically. Sniper Elite is pretty realistic, probably the best sniper sim out there, although I don't really know of any others.
