It would be great if we could import larger and better quality files, most of the time I try to import a sound, its to long or to big, and there tiny to begin with.

My ears are so sensitive I can hear the looping each sound file makes in the game (turbo noise for example) and its rather annoying, kinda like me. But anyways it sure would be nice to have the length of the sounds played to be unlimted.

I've got some pretty tweaked out informative sounds for the car's I drive, I should put some work into the other cars and perhaps make some kind of a pack, I agree about the sounds are better now than what they used to be.

Sometimes I find that LFS wont use AA or AF settings unless the resolution is changed to something other than the desktop resolution, so try another res just for a test to see if the settings kick in.

Ya theres some traction issues lol, the slicks barely weigh anything, and the rims.. hmm I couldnt tell ya, not much though. But ya its definately fun Just gotta weld a few more bars and braces into the rollcage so the truck can be certified to run under 8.49 though.. Notice how its extended cab, you sit in the back to drive it lol.

nothing in the back except some fat slicks lol, anyways best pass of the weekend was an 8.59 at 160mph with about .4 tenths still in its, not hooking off the line as good as it can be.. here's a pic from lastyear

If LFS decides to go pay2play like WoW or something, I'm afraid me and about a million others would quit playing online, and as for the offline stuff, LFS doesn't run offline here at all. Id sell off my account for whatever I could get for it, it would be useless to me. And the amount of time and money I've put into building a cockpit upgrading and such (just for LFS alone) all down the drain.

Me and buddy are heading out there BIR (I've never been out there yet)this weekend, leaving tomorrow morning actually, just dropped a new motor in the S-10 making over 1000hp and gotta go do some runs and whatnot. Any LFS racers around and wanna meet up and get :drink: and go hunting for cougars? lol

Theres a way around it if you start the game in a lower res, then switch to your res you want, I have the same problems when running LFS when its the same as my desktop res.

So try starting the game in 1024x768 or something, then switch to 1680x1050..

try pressing shift+C ingame
