Nice! I really liked it. Except for the part at about 1:13 where it looks a little laggy. Maybe it's just the slowmotion, if so.. i found it a little too slow.
Makes me want to try making movies..
Sorry for going offtopic, but those fern bay textures (road, kerbs in general), are those a pack of some kind? I've been looking for them for ages but haven't found any. Can you share them?
Like they're gonna ban the shark fins for only looking bad. For me it's still all about the racing..
However, it seems as if the racing itself is also getting ruined now, as time passes..
Them means he makes multiple doesn't it? I thought you ment that he is already selling them. Make yourself more clear next time, ''sherlock''
Anyway, then he should suggest it to the guy who made it.
Must've read over that renaming part then, my bad.
However, my opinion is that i can still be alpha, even if it's played by the public.
Well, let's not start this discussion, i'll probaly end up being wrong after all.
I can confirm that it's actually quite similar.
I've got the G25 steering wheel, and i'm using the turning degrees matched to the cars in LFS.
I was excited when my dad finally made me drive his Focus once, i was 14 at the time.
The main thing i noticed was the fact that you actually feel the car, body roll etcetera. Which, in my opinion makes it easier to drive. The pedals are stiffer then the ones from the G25, and the gear change really needs alot more smoothing. That was really the only thing that took most of my attention. That's the only thing that is much different from LFS. All of the other things went pretty much automatically. I found the forces from the steering wheel in the Focus similar to the road cars in LFS, and not at all more powerful. In my opinion, driving a car on the road or something like that, isn't much different at all.
Ofcourse, racing is so much different.. i can except the forces from the steering wheel to be much stronger, such as G forces etcetera.
I do kart sometimes however. And i've gone karting once before i started playing LFS. I finished last, and i had pretty bad time.
I went to that same track a few years later, supplied with the experience from LFS, and i actually made it to the top-10 of the day. That has got to do something with LFS. Right?
I have found a little thing at the wheels of the XRT.
There seem to be a few white edges at the spokes from the XRT from some angles. It could however be caused by the reflection mod i've got on it..
This can be seen from a long distance. Even though it might look like a really tiny thing nobody can't see, it can be seen..
And there are some see-trough holes in the tyres of the UF1, and that same problem seems to be at other cars too.

Rfactor does really look bad. Most of the tracks in Rfactor are just plain flat, and they just don't look good somehow.
And it doesn't even feel like you're driving a car. It feels like you're turning around 1 point.
Not much good can be said about the FFB either. I've tried multiple settings for my G25, but they just didn't feel right.
The variety of Rfactor brings too much problems, as the mod makers just don't take any time to make something good. Specially in terms of tracks. Yes, some mods may be good, but most of them are plain bad.
And LFS is still only in Alpha(!) There's still so much that can still be improved and implented. Even if it does take a long while, there will eventually be perfection (hopefully)
