Yes you can run Windows on any Intel powered Mac (all new ones are). If you haven't bought it yet, you'll be fine. All the new ones come with MacOS 10.5 (Leopard). What you do is operate a utility program (Bootcamp) which sets the hard drive up with a second partition onto which you install windows (XP Pro recommended, rather than Vista). You can then start it up as either a Mac or a Windows machine. You have to have a legitimate copy of Windows, single installer disc, service pack 2. I've tried it on a MacBook Pro and it's a breeze (actually works better than any PC I've ever tried!!). It even creates Windows drivers for all the Mac hardware, graphics cards etc. You then just install LFS and treat it as a Windows machine. You have to restart to turn it back into a Mac, and vise versa. I get frame rates of over 100 easily. It's obviously cheaper with Bootcamp, as the software is bundled - you just have to buy Windows. It all depends whether you mind having to reboot to switch between the two. Have fun!

hi does anyone have a good FZR & XRR Race Setup with lots of grip i don't care about speed write know i just want grip specially for the FZR becuase i always spin out on cornors, oh and i use KB and sometimes Mouse.

hey no problem Dr1ft i haven't started yet due to lots of school but on the weekend i will start.

I'm running LFS on a LapTop and my specs are:
Video Card:Mobile Intel 915GM/910GML Express Chipset Family
Procceser:1.73GHZ
Ram:504MB RAM

and i get about an average of 20FPS on the defualt settings hope this helps

thx i didn't know my friend was making the skin so it was a surprise. but Nice skin you made there very simular my friend is going to make a Porsche racing skin for the FZR so be ready for that one! oh and that skin ymfriend made you can use it he doesn't have S2 he just uses my account for lan races or singleplayer once in awhile.

Hey here is a skin for the FXR that my friend made based of the 2005 Mercedes AMG Race Car (not the Mercedes CLK GTR) and it is very well done.
