Hey since the Windows 7 beta is out for any one to download My bro and i (both mac users) are downloading it and going to bootcamp it since its possible so I was wondering if anyone has tried running LFS on Windows 7.
Do remember Windows 7 will be only availible to certain people to download on the 24th of this month but currently its open for anyone to try. And also even if you get the beta it ends on August 1st unless they have lots of problems still.
Ok i'm updated to the newest Leopard and I've tryed Running LFS through Crossover and it doesn't open but i'm going to try again tommorow as its 10:30pm and i have to get up early to plow snow tommorow.
That is last years version of the Macbook Pro and it does have firewire ports. When i mean last year i mean the ones that went before the current ones.
Its maybe not becuase nobody likes your team, its sometimes becuase people want to join teams that have been around for awhile. Like me i don't really like going to new teams because i don't want to go to a team that may end in a month or so. I'm not saying your team is bad or not going to work. And also for me I look for teams that have nice skins that i like because i don't want to go to a team that has skins i don't like.
You know you a LFS Fanatic when your bored and can't play LFS so you go the LFS Forums.
You know you a LFS Fanatic when you have the lfsforums as you homepage.
You know you a LFS Fanatic when you are getting a mac and your old PC will only be used for LFS
P.S. its true i'm getting a MBP and my PC will only be used for LFS.
I think this would be a good idea but MAGGOT has a good point if you have the editors open for only a month or so the content people will make will be lower quility so i think it would be good if all the programers in the LFS comunity have a contest that the devs arange and then the top 5 people in the contest get access to the Editors and then they can make there tracks/cars and make them in good quility. And if we did have a contest we would know its going to be good quility not just poor stuff.
Hello i Have finnaly buyed my new computer which is a Refurbished last years version MacBook Pro lap top with a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and a 8800 or 8600 Nividea vid card. Know those mac users here is it possible to run LFS on a mac with out having to boot up windows? Becuase i don't have the money to buy windows yet. I will be useing my current Windows PC to play games on until i get windows vista and can install it on the mac but i was just wondering if its possible to play LFS on a mac.
Yes i do know that it takes a split second or less bean0 but thats if everyone is ready where if the person isn't exacly ready it can cost time and if you could do it while the car being worked on you don't have to worry about losing time.
Ok please people stop lieing about things so that you can get into teams becuase you have a better chance of getting in to a team if your being honest. And if you are a slow racer some teams may want you becuase they see you have potential. As you can tell I am not that fast and teams have being intrested in me becuase I have potential. The only thing in my form that isn't 100% true is me about getting a wheel soon but when i do have the money i will be getting one. So PLEASE be honest don't lie to get into a team becuase when they find out your lieing about your time or something they'll kick you out probibly.
I'm Not saying everyone is lying, i'm just saying to those people that are lying to get into a team, to stop it and be honest.
I don't exacly remember the old ones but i think there fine how they are becuase, hey there releastic and the game is a Racing Simulator so i think there ok but for some people with bad eyes it may be a good option. so for me 0
Hey guys since i'm signed up for my first endurance race i was just thinking when i go to do the driver change you have to wait until the PIT crew is done changing tires and all that, and then when the PIT crew is done you then are alowed to to the driver change but in real life you can do the driver change when the PIT crew is working becuase in Top Gear when they were at the 24H race they changed drivers when the PIT crew was changing tires or Refuiling. So the main question is do you think we should be able to Change driver when the car is being fixed/refueled? Also another resoen is if you were in a massive 24 hour race, that 1-3 second long driver change can cost you valuable time and posistions.

1. Lambrigini Gallardo LP 560-4
2. Mercedes CLK GTR
3. Merc CLK Black Edition
4. Audi R8
5. Nissan GTR
there not in really that order cause there all great cars as i've seen a Nissan GTR (Red) Audi R8 and haven't seen a LP 560-4 but i've seen a 05 Gallardo and 2 mercilagos in a showroom at Lambo. Oh and i've seen tons of Astons and i've walked by the Lotus Dealer. Its funny cause in Vancouver on one street there is a Lotus Dealer, Lambo, Aston, Porsche, Jag, Landrover so its nice when you drive by.
