2: you're a demo user... I'm pretty sure you won't get much help unless you buy the game.

I personally am not against helping demo users, I just don't have experience with InSim that much...

And I know from experience that the licensed users of this forum act quite rudely towards demo users that ask for stuff. I'm not saying they don't have their reasons, because of how many people crack the game, but that doesn't dismiss behavior.. Good luck finding much help on this forum...

Something like that existed once upon a time... It was called "LFS Companion". The support for that mod has ceased and it does not work with current versions

Any developments since the last post here?

I guess another question I should be asking is, what kind of server with what features should I create? I planned on a regular race server, but maybe it would be better to add more features or change the theme entirely.

I have the hardware and, one way or another, will be hosting a server.

I need 2 servers, which will be connected using Lapper:

- Lapper: should show basic stats for a racing server (split times, lap tops, leaderboard, etc)

- ^7[^1VT^7] ^4VTEC Demo: BL2 track, XRG+XFG+FBM cars.

- ^7[^1VT^7] ^4VTEC S2: Whatever the best track for general racing is (I'm not good at picking tracks..), FF FR and RR cars.

I can change ports, passwords, and other general settings. I just don't want to have the hassle of setting it up myself haha

As Draggo said, use DCON. It works perfectly on Ubuntu (that's how I hosted my sever originally).

Use MONO if you want to run LFSLapper.

I've been using Trinus VR for LFS for quite a while now. It runs decently on a crappy desktop, on a crappy phone, with a very cheap headset. With some power you could easily push it to the max.

It's really quite cool to be able to look around the car.

A tip though: DO NOT enable the anti-drift thing when using the phone gyros, it actually makes it drift...

Attempting to run VR through the app TrinusVR. The phone being used isn't high enough resolution for the current textures to make sense, and I wonder if there are some super-low res textures for things like the asphalt and grass to improve FPS.

This all makes for a nice field week in week out (every sunday evening), but there are more very well organised leagues to choose from.

Definitely great advice, though i have already taken it.
