I have owned about 3 different G27's since January 2012.

The first one started 3-4 months after purchase, having the shifter-problem. The second one.. well.. Did about the same time, third one, that I got from replacement in warranty, is from September 2012ish, and this one didn't break down yet.

I use it about 5 - 10 hours a week. Normal racing (or driving very very very quick if you count cruise-servers), sometimes drifting.

No the cake isn't a lie.

Couple of reason I think why LFS is unlike to bounce back.

• Years of missed opportunity to release content to simulate the game.
  
• The trend of development speed doesn't lend any credibility to further stages.
  
• There are numerous other games that didn't exist leading up to 06. LFS now has a lot more competition.
  
• Once bitten twice shy. Community buy into the game isn't going to be the same.
  
• Average online racers are trending down. Even worse if you cut out the cruise servers.
  
• Physics aren't visual and the cosmetics don't do the game justice. Looking at it from a fresh pair of eyes, it looks very dated (circa 2003) and it's hard to appreciate the games mechanics, that are (IMO) well ahead of it time. It will take a massive overhaul of the games cosmetic side to get current. At the current rate of content release, it doubtful that's on the cards.
  

Call a few proper simulators where you can configure as much as in LFS (or even more), and doesn't have a horrible force-feedback (referring to rFactor)

A game doesn't need flashy graphics to be good. I don't, on a low-regular base, still play the older Need for Speed games just for its graphics, I mean, back then, woo, awesome. Right now, still great, but its the gameplay that does the job in a game.

CPW is the anti-mod protection thingy.

The best thing you can do is install a clean copy of Live for Speed and try it again in 12/24hrs from now. (First CPW ban is 12hrs, second one 24hrs if I'm not mistaken)

Yeah I figured that. Thats why I wanted to know if it was worth it staying up, or just well, see if there's unlocks in the morning.

I've used up all my unlocks for this week, and I'm now .... erhh.. wondering at what time that unlocks are send out? Sending the dev's an email isn't an option, as its 12AM - 1AM at the moment.

Am I the only one or is nHancer not booting (properly)? All it does for me is show a splash-logo, and boot a service. I don't get any UI to work with.

Its the tyre-pressure / camber (and force (or stress) used on the tyres, as in, trying a 120kph corner with atleast 140kph) making the tyre going hot faster. To low pressure = fast hot, however, to much pressure, causes lack of grip wich equals (on the rear) oversteering, and on the front understeer.

Just another question about those flag's. I've noticed that they are pretty weird sometimes. I was driving on Cargame, in a FXO. I passed someone in a XFG driving alot slower then me. Yet, I got blue flag?

Doesnt the blue-flag mean that there is someone approaching to you on a faster rate?
