Alright, here's my (somewhat idiot proof) nutshell of the thread *advance with caution*
1) Possible Karting Configuration
2) Upside down bleachers for the Aussies
3) December Not November
4) Hopeful patch before the 25th
5) Lots of dedication
6) Enough with the Rockingham & VW talk noobs.
7) Write your own nutshell(s)
8) People type wayyyyyy to much stuff down sometimes.
9) Some people don't type enough >.>
10) This is only because I got to 10. Yay me!
I know we have our season mods on here, and truth be told I can't download most, the "old and worn down" mods, plus the "Futuristic" Mods. But here's something I think a lot of people miss: Where's that core creativity? Don't get me wrong the mods are beautiful and highly respected, but I think there are a few that have been missed in general. Such as, and I can't believe nobody thought of this, MARIO KART MOD. Or some brony, I know y'all are on here, do a MLP MOD. Or anime fans try a DRAGONBALL Z or BLEACH. And this is not a request, by no means. I think we see this as a realistic environment so much, we forget that it takes more than staying within the box to make true progress (Such as the addition to Westhill, personally thought we were going to get more of South City with the extra hidden roads or Fern Bay with all the configurations).
So here is MY request: Look back at things non racing, 'ell non-driving related, and ask yourself: How can that be relative? I may have wasted my time typing this, but I hope somebody gets inspired.
So I'm trying to find some things to add to my video:
-Top of the screen driver seed
-"On Board With..." Subtitles
I've seen examples of these with LFSTV and a few YouTube videos, but having a tough time finding actual sources. If anybody has any links or suggestions, please make note.
Yeah, I remember looking at those when I was just looking around (during Demo days). But, alas, mine was for a friend who's wanting to host a LAN party for racing.
But thanks for your help, have you test drove it? I've already had some fun test driving it already.
EDIT: also, mine doesn't look like a flying saucer.
I don't know if there's some secret tool to measure distance on Autocross tracks, but I did some calculations to a recent one I made and I think, which is still scary, I got an almost perfect 1/4 mile oval.
1 Chalk Line 2 I assumed was approx. 3 yards. Armco 1 is about the same length, so I think:
Armco 1 = 3 yds
Armco 3 = 9 yds
Armco 5 = 15 yds
The inside of the track consists of 42 armco 1's and 44 armco 5's, thus about 336 yds or .19 miles.
The outside is same amount of armco 5's, but 32 armco 3's, so that results in 508 yds or .29 miles.
.19 -> .2 & .29 -> .3, average it out and a .25 mile track.
I'm not sure if this is accurate, but if anybody would like to give me some more details on lengths and such, I'll redo it.
This track is actually not my original design. I remember racing on a track similar to this and we had 9 drivers, and all TBO (RB4, FXO, and XRT) cars on track, I wish I had the replay but tough love. So if somebody actually did make the original design of this track, please let me know.
No single car tracks allowed, multi-player only. From the good to the bad, even throw some online tracks if you have them.
Down below is: UTAH'S Super Rallycross. Yeah, a great name I know, but it's not the worse. My friend made this track for GTI and TBO rallycross competition that was local to my college. It's a lot of fun when you really get into it. Enjoy!
Jobs would rather have experience over schooling anyway. a way is better than no way, so I'd rather die trying. I'll take a look at the files once I can get on my computer to look & explore.
This may seem like a ridiculous question, but if we can modify how the tracks look, the cars, and our viewing screens, is there any program that could possibly allow me to move or "cut and paste" AI paths?
I found the thread about Artificial Intelligence Project, by blackbird04217 {https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y9BR3yC4X8Y} I simply want to know the system of which I would possibly have to use and/or any suggestions on how I should go about them.
NOTE: I do NOT want to improve racing line(s) for current tracks, I want to make new ones for open config.
Mouseman you make a very good point and I have no means of arguing with you. But, I cannot race online at the moment and this is for offline use pretty much. Currently, I have a new computer which is working like crap, and I am doing majority of the things in my life to the best of my ability. Now, I do have 1 suggestion: Have you put this through CMX, or on the LFS program, with the shine and everything on? Because if you have, like majority of all skins, you will hardly ever notice the tiniest mistakes that include: quality, errors, and such.
This was just a "project" I did for fun and honestly only posted it because I thought "Ya know, we really don't have a lot of NASCAR skins on here." So I posted 1, knowing somebody can do a better job than me. Now, if you are really that concerned about it, please by all means, make the skin better. If you, or anybody, has nothing positive to say, then please do not waste your time and energy by posting something negative.
On that note: Here's another skin of Michael Annet's #7 which was really hard but fun to do.
