what's the pass to the F1|oneGp.org server? I had to hunt down the password for the last event since I didn't get a pm with a pass last time. I'd rather not have to hunt down the password again.
I just wanted to apoligize about my driving and in race chat during midway of today's race. My brother came in and decided he wanted to use the computer. We can see who won that arguement. Sorry to the leaders for being in the way.
I'm currently having trouble with suspension damage with the BF1 from the uphill section at AS4. What I am trying to do is be able to go about 11-12 laps before going to pit, but with the set i got from setupgrid (see below) I can only get the car to go about 8 laps before the suspension decides to give up.
I was told to try raising the ride height to solve the problem but that doesn't really seem to help. I've never made my own set before so I don't know what to try first to remedy the problem.
I've included the set I am using and an .spr file with me running the set until the car breaks. I'm wondering if my problem has anything to do with the line I take going uphill.
I've seen on the One GP site that the original schedule set by deko had been changed. Do you mind also posting the new schedule here in case some of us haven't found our way to the site yet?
I bought a totaled 2006 Chevy Cobalt LT back in 2007 for about $2200. All it really needed was a radiator, front fender, front bumper, windshield, and a new airbag (the frame needed to be straightened as well). So altogether I payed $5500 for it which isn't bad for how it turned out. If you were to look at it you would think it was never in an accident.
The only problem I have with it is that the ABS decides to turn off every now and then. Other than that it runs very well, I've even brought to autox events for some laughs. (auto transmission and all-year tires :P)
He told me how this guy would just blast through red lights and jammed traffic without even looking to see if anyone was coming. So my bud asked this person why he does that and his response was along the lines of "Well since I've got such a crappy car, no one is going to want to hit me since they'll definitely have a better car that they won't want to crash into me".
WTF, seriously what the hell is this guy thinking? What if (god forbid) there's another driver around who thinks like that?
But from what I see here, I can guess it looks up the pyinsim library that you made, defines the 4 tyres on the new player's car from the npl packet and looks to see if any of the tyres match the Road_Super compound. If a player does match the situation it kicks them with a message with the players name that says spectated for using Road_super tyres.
The next section looks like it defines the insim variable from something from your pyinsim library and then I get a little lost after that.
Looks like I have some reading up to do. I didn't even know about Python until today, luckily it looks like it's a free program so i'll be downloading and looking at what I can do with it this week.
This is great if I can combine this with forcing an intake restriction as well for multiple cars
I've seen that insim applications are able place handicaps such as intake restriction and weight, but is it possible to limit tire choice? For instance I don't want Road Super tires to be used but other types are ok.
