max 20% more then the limits, we have a very big punishment for speeding, the min is nearly ~75 euro (20.000 forint), the max is ~1000 euro (300.000 forint), and the police is only for to catch the people who speeding(they can't catch the people who robbing, molestating, killing etc., oh and gipsy because of the "racism")...

the render looks very nice!
but the cars in the background(31, 83 and maybe 81) doesn't follow the "plane", so those looks like, like those follow a curve not a flat thing, maybe the camera angle made that view to me, realy don't no, but something wrong with it i think, sorry

Quote from mogster :I actually started with that first tutorial. It's not shit. I admit there's lotsa shortcuts you can make but at least it teaches you some useful techniques and tools. Anyway here's something...

nice tyre, but maybe it's a bit too "fat", i hope you understand what i want to say whit that

back to tut, yes it's good for some type of rims, but for a complex rim the second one is much easier

don't know what type of render engine are you using, but i hope there is a setting for color mapping, in v-ray if you set it to exponential it reduce the overbright so you can create much better chrome things, here is a picture where you can find it in v-ray:

Quote from samyip :Why not just add 'shell' modifier. It lets you control the thickness, automatically gives you material IDs for outside, inside and side materials. Even more simplier.

sometimes it doesn't work well, but he can try it

Quote from okijuhans :Its crappy LFS helmet.

Need to remodel one, but there is few tutorials. Anyways , I paint the glass black and "ok". Dont want ... brain.... with that helmet.

clone it, resize, add a black material, delete the shield, and voila
think simple

If you like my helmets and VRAY some scene I can make , then I can rende them. Post your helmets here Sponge.

i like your renders, but the background is always(!) darker then the object what you put in it, try to change something on the hdri settings or the render settings or the lights if you use some

Ever thought why the F1 rims are so small and the profile so high?

they need less pressure, then the bigger ones -> more grip ; if i know right

anyway, here is test render and model of the 2009 style tire
