I was wondering if there are any G25 users out here that have this problem that I have who could help me. I've used this wheel for maybe 3 years now and overtime it has somehow started to wear out and by that I mean the center point of the wheel keeps changing when you turn it too fast into one direction or you just drive normally with the FFB on and turn against it. I've done some research on it and supposedly the optical sensor inside that black box on the left FFB motor is causing it because it was loose. I actually opened the wheel up and then did exactly what this other user did here:
After assembling it and plugging everything in the wheel still functions but the problem remains for some inexplicable reason. I really don't know what is be causing it so I was hoping someone here could help me because it would be a shame to throw this wheel away because of this issue.
Also before anyone says I should return it and get a replacement I can't do that because my warranty ended 2 years ago.
Yea i had that problem too with a momo and my current G25 got it fixed when you go to the logitech gaming profile go to the global settings or something like that then a white box comes up with all these different settings and there is an option called combine pedals and uncheck that.
I hope that helps.
Ok guys first of all when i saw this topic i knew that there was gonna be alot of ppl here spamming and it was fun to read another kind of topic like this.
But in my opinion no to driftmode. There would be no point in a driftmode.
But yes to adding a filter for search only for "Drift servers".
I think you should keep saving more money until you can buy that G25 its really good.
Also where did you look up the price? I got mine of about 200 euros on www.pixmania.com
I think what youre doing wrong is you are responding too late on the second corner on both replays and i think you should try starting the drift more earlier. I hope this helps you.
Maybe the warm tyre temps are because the tyres are already a little warm when you pit. If you actually just wait for like 30 mins or more your tyre temperature will drop below 30 or 40 or whatever it is when you pit.
IRL the cars are in their garage and the tyres get to cooldown so much that next day when you go driving it takes that time to get the tyres warmed up.
Ok i have found a lot of errors and it says that half of them are something called "perfnet"? And half are application errors. And my antivirus says that there are warnings and errors alot until it got corrupted when i was scrolling it down.
Is there something wrong in my computer like really wrong.
MS Windows XP SP3 Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.06 GHz 3 GB RAM, Nvidia Geforce 6200 LE and i think that my computer can support PCI graphic cards.
And could it be something in my internet connection or in my computer harddrive because almost 50 % of the time when i download something its corrupted and i dont do anything else with the computer at the time the file is downloading i also shut MSN and other programs.
