I like to race seriously but this is a joke. Why shouldnt people be able to reset out of a sandtrap If anyone watched Bathurst you will notice that Alex Tagliani got stuck in the gravel he was then towed out and sent on his way.
I dont know about anyone else in the LFS community but I like to have fun playing this sim. By that I mean Close racing, occasional rubbing of panels, and all the other things that come with an online "game", oh but I know its a sim.... Yes it is but its also a game.
Why does a "small" percentage of the LFS community want to take everything that makes the sim enjoyable out?
No reset means newer drivers ie. virgins would get frustrated with not being able to reset and like me would turn away thinking good sim but just not fun.
Keep up the good work devs but please reset my car on the grass or something not in the gravel trap!

OK V8 supercars.... The best series in the world have fuel lights in their cars. I didnt know this until Bathurst where Steven Johnson had to pit one lap early because the fuel light came on 1/2 way down Conrod straight which meant that they didnt have enough fuel to do another lap.
I also beleive that Formula 1 have low fuel lights and the same is for many other series. It is actually used as a safeguard against a bogus computer reading in the pit box. When the light comes on YOU ARE low on fuel no matter what the guys in the pit box tell you.
Saying that... I'd like to say how about you try doing some research before you start saying that it is unrealistic. Its unrealistic to have to modify your pit settings, not have someone on the radio talking to you, not getting pulled out of sandtraps when your stuck (by the way that really pisses me off getting bogged, hitting reset and being reset still right in the middle of the trap im trying to get out of.... Please fix this).

Its not very often that we have a disco but it does happen on occasion and most the time its not the users fault. although from time to time it is.
If we just had a safeguard there so that during a endurance event eg 3hr if the internet falls over you can rejoin and not start on lap 0. Especially if you D/C in the last hour.
As its mentioned, it is a feature on most other race sims.
