Yes this is normal. You will have to lift off the gas in order to change gear in some cars.

I only bought the game about a year ago and I already feel I have got my money's worth by a long long way.

I (like another poster) feel slightly guilty sometimes that I paid such a small fee and get continued use of this great game.

Also for what it's worth, as an English speaker - I think it's great that more is being done to cater for other languages.

I would say concentration is the most important thing for myself when trying to be consistent.
I'm not entirely sure how I increase my focus but I do know that a few beers does not help ;-)

Still think I've had the game for under a year - feels like longer.

I played the demo for a bit, really liked it and then bought Rfactor on the advice of my friend. Wasn't at all happy with the game so got my refund and purchased LFS.

You don't need to spend all that money on a G25. Go for the Driving force pro, I got mine for about £40-£50 and simply can't fault it! :-)

Can anyone please help me. I am new to the game and like the original poster, I have been mainly driving the FOX at AS club. Have been getting my times down bit by bit but can't get my laps down any further that early 1:02's.

I have attached a replay - if anyone could give any pointers that would be great as I'm about 1 - 1.5 secs off the leaders atm. The 3 laps in this replay are pretty standard as to what times I would normally get...
