no I'm not saying that AMD is slow and cheap but if you are planning on spending more than 300$ on the CPU alone then you will get better performance from Intel.
Ah yes the x2 3600+ a very nice and cheap cpu just have to a bit careful when buying one of them some shops might still have old 3600's lying around
(90nm, Windsor core, ADO3600CUBOX) but they have half of the normal L2 cache (256kb) and that will hurt the performance so what you would want to buy is the x2 3600 Brisbane(65nm Brisbane core, ADO3600DDBOX) as Jakg already said.

FPS is directly influenced by the gpu so if you only want more fps get a better card but more RAM will make everything smoother, loading times will be lower and overall your PC will feel faster
so pretty much you will want both RAM and a better card. With 512 you can pretty much run almost any game at the moment but with some games will just have so looong loading times that they will make you cry, I know 
I guess It's safe to say that I really like S2 :P ended my second day with 1295km driven

In S1 I belive you needed something like 200 points to unlock the XRT before you could drive it

Dear Mr. Dvorak: Ann Landers wouldn't print this. I have nowhere else to turn. I have to get the word out. Warn other parents. I must be rambling on. Let me try and explain. It's about my son, BillyHe's always been a good, normal ten year old boy. Well, last spring we sat down after dinner to select a summer camp for Billy. We sorted through the camp brochures. There were the usual camps with swimming, canoing, games, singing by the campfire -- you know. There were sports camps and specialty camps for weight reduction, music, military camps and camps that specialized in Tibetan knot tying. I tried to talk him into Camp Winnepoopoo. It's where he went last year. (He made an adorable picture out of painted pinto beans and macaroni). Billy would have none of it. Billy pulled a brochure out of his pocket. It was for a COMPUTER CAMP! We should have put our foot down right there, if only we had known. He left three weeks ago. I don't know what's happened. He's changed. I can't explain it. I'd say lower your steer rates and assign buttons for Fast steer and Slow Steer
If you only need the setups then well you can fit A WHOLE LOT of them on the 512MB stick

Well I use winamp to listen to my "tunez" and I don't get any lag at all.

I'd say go for a ATI 1950XT that would be the best one for that price.
And yes for 50£ there aint very many cards out there but a nvidia 6600 should be the best one you can get I think
Well as I understand your video drivers dont work then AVG antivirus is borked
and motherboard drivers aint working very well OMCI is a Dell driver ( i have no idea what it does ) and Fips-- FIPS is a program for non-destructive splitting of FAT16 and FAT32 harddisk partitions.
So i would say it's easyer to just format and reinstall windows + drivers

The XRT is yes alot easyer to drive than before but for some reason I'm slower with it now maybe because I have not used it much i could do 1:24.xx something before patch S now the best i got, after 4 laps :P , was 1:26 something I think I just need to get used to it once more

Well I still have the same conf. as i did before patch S and 1:33: xx does not seem impossible with XFG on BL1 I'll just need a bit of practise atm i have done 1:34:2 before my best was 1:32:36
The key to driving with KB is that you Have to use slowsteer because without it you'll be flying all over the place in corners
