As you probably now know a patch with the VWS in is coming on Friday 19th December. Does that date ring any bells with you? (It should lol )

If it's a test patch, PLEASE ENSURE YOU STILL HAVE A PATCH Z'0' INSTALL OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO TAKE PART.

If it's a full on big patch, then we'll use it as we havn't really got much choice in the matter (or can you bypass auto update....?) But I very much doubt it will be tbh.

(BTW, wasn't patch Z released on the eve of the Kyoto 500 this year? I think the devs have their eyes on when our events are and schedule their patches to co-incide :P)

Best to have the entire pre-patch LFS-S2-Z downloaded and sitting waiting in case the auto update thing happens.

Indeed they shoudl at the least dalayy it by a day and include special chrirocco server so more poeple can take place in the best way to celabrate christmass

I'd suggest just to update it (the server) and everything... it shouldn't get too complicated... we'd just need to talk to FRO therefore...

about the Scirocco, we could just do another event between the years or even as NDR New Year's Event

Erm, if you read Scawen's post you'll see he says it will be released during the week ending Friday the 19th. So it's likely it won't be released on the 19th. Is everyone really gonna just be racing and driving the car so much that they can't spare a bit of time to compete in this race?

If it's the whole big patch issue then that can be negated by just telling us which to run - ie, not auto updating or having Z around somewhere (and not updating your server obviously!).

So why does the date need to be changed? It's not like many have pulled out due to being on the 19th, and even then they've been replaced.

Look at the specs, http://en.lfsmanual.net/wiki/Cars:TBO - VWS is 200 bhp so is down on power, that's why I suggested just 1 car enter for a laugh.

Pearcy, there's no need to adjust to physics changes - just run with patch Z!

Scirocco has 200bhp, TBO cars have ~240bhp.

maybe it has much better handling than the other tbo's so it ca run with them, but we shall see when its released
