Happy Birthday Adolf
http://www.smh.com.au/articles/2008/12/17/1229189675703.html

Strange report in the Age newspaper, about a couple who have called their boy Adolf Hitler being denied a birthday cake with their son's name on it.

As I was reading it, I was thinking to myself (trying to be a little open minded)... why not eh? It's just a name after all. As the father says 'The kid isn't going to grow up and do what [Hitler] did.'. Sounds reasonable...? ... ? Errrrrrrr...

Then I read down a little further and guess what? They have another younger child called...

JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell!

Happy B'day little Adolf. But as soon as you're 16, you run like the wind fella!
haha, good grief...
This world is a mad place..
I wonder if he has been in trouble at nursery with his friend Joseph Stalin.

(actually that would be a lovely scenario to see the teacher shouting at the both of them. "Adolf, play nice with Stalin now of you go into the naughty corner")
And ickle Mussolini not knowing which side he wants to be on.

haha, that made my day. She is really ugly though .
Ouch, once he goes to school, his name will be the joke everywhere!
Nothing wrong with Adolf Hitler (because it's a a name), but "Aryan Nation" being your two middle names? Surely that's just stupidity.
'No, we're not racists. BTW, I'd like to introduce you to our son and daughters. Adolf, Ayran Nation... come and meet our nice new neighbour'.

Poland
haha wonder what my History teacher got to say about this tomorrow
Adolf, a shy looking and awkward boy, is bought forward eagerly by Mr Campbell for inspection by Poland. Mr Campbell is beaming down at his son with a goofy, fatherly pride- while Adolf shifts nervously from one foot to the other, upset at being drawn out of his introversion and thrust into the centre of attention. Poland looks down to meet little Adolf's eyes then turns his gaze immediately back towards Mr Campbell. 'This boy is scary'- he thinks to himself uncomfortably.

In an instant, little Adolf pulls out a pink plastic knife and lunges forward, stabbing Poland in the kneecap. Blood spurts out all over the cheap carpet. Poland recoils in horror, clutching feebly at his freshly wounded knee. Mr Campbell and Adolf watch on excitedly as Poland fumbles for the front doorknob...
serious amp? while it is arguably okay to name your kid Adolf (as long as you don't live in a german speaking country), the addition of "Hitler" clearly isn't.

ALlso, no matter what your political ideals are, to stigmatize your kid with such a name, you'd have to be about as intelligent as a slice of stale bread. Coincidentally, that's the intelligence all of his followers today have.
Maybe that boy is "THE CHOSEN ONE"

If your surname is Hitler, then why not. Forcibly adding Hitler as a forename is clearly a bit strange though.

Do Russians no longer consider naming their children Iosif?

Funnily enough, Stalin is still regarded as a hero in russias history, saving them from ze eval germins in the Great Patriotic War (which is WW2 everywhere else).

Concerning the surname Hitler, as with many german names, they originate in the life of ancestors, with Hitler being simply a misspelling of Hiedler (a man who lives at a water source). While there are Hiedlers, Hüttlers, Hittlers, Hütlers which all have the same linguistic origin, the mistake "Hitler" originated quite late, with his father having himself renamed and the clerk simply misspelling "Hiedler" for "Hitler". Allthough easily changeable, his father presumably liked this unique new name, which basically died out with no male offspring of his having surviving kids.
Although I see no problem in naming a child Adolf Hitler, I really must say that Aryan Nation is extremely idiotic. I mean do this parents understand the consequences of naming their children like that? Sure there will be people that will be ok with it but the majority will not thus putting at stakes their social life. If I was in their place, I would change my name as soon as I turn 18.

You have to feel for the kids. It's sad, but I guess they'll learn their lessons about intolerance and prejudice the hard way from the local school bully. Good luck getting a job too, with a name like Aryan Nation.
