Sorry for bumping this thread but if i make new one you will still attack me..so once again i had a little argue on demo(yes i know that demo users are not serious but until i get license..) server but however which one is right:
I said that if person got S2 which is needed for skin upload it is grown up enough to decide if he wants to upload or not that skin and until i`m not modifying that skin or calling it mine its ok!
He said that using those skins by moving them to skins_dds folder is disrespect to creators and stealing..other person also said that if u`re not using official team skin but some funny skin like spongebob or powerpuffs and still not calling it as yours and not modifying its ok and its just a game! That`s the purpose the skins are made - for public use so that people can have good time..
Look i dont want ban|warn|whatever or to offend someone i just want truth!
P.S.There is a way - insert authors name on those skin files so that everyone can find and ask them if the skin is for public use or not..
P.P.S.I think that next LFS should be made with option to automaticaly give users ability to use seen skins cause they can be moved from skins_x to skins_dds anyway..

You shouldn't really be using skins from the skins_x folder.

Yes, a lot of them will be public skins and you are doing no wrong by using them.
BUT, a few of them will certainly be team skins, or private/personal skins of a particular racer.

If you see a skin you like in-game, ask the guy wearing it where he got it from.
