Kawasaki Z750 seat lock location
May be a slightly gay/wierd question to ask, but it's bugging the sheit out of me.

I've spend many hours googling to no avail.

I'm looking for the (I'm assuming) lock to get my seat off of my Z750. (It's a 2004). I need to access the battery which (I'm guessing) resides under the seat as per normal.

I have looked on both sides along the side of the seat unit, and even under-neath and can't seem to find it. Anyone who has a freind who has one/has one yourself or knows where it is, could you be so kind as to point me in the general direction?>_<

Well in a way, thanks AJP. Been looking for a manual for it and you found it. Something to be saving for.

But yeah, I'd like to find the lock without having to buy a book which I can't afford at the mo', and besides, what good is a bike that has a flat battery (getting that way at least xD)

kick it in gear, hold clutch and start running. Then let go of clutch and watch your bike take off without you :hide:
then ride to the nearest shop with knowledgeable people
It's underneath the tail unit. Look and you shall find.

If in doubt, just yank the seat off

Thanks for the helpful infomation. FYI I used to work in a dealership but this was completely beyond me. Besides, why would I pay someone £15 just to show me how to take a seat off, I've had this bike for a matter of days so give me a break.

@ Syfoon

If anyone is interested, Kawasaki needs a slap for putting the lock in such a dumbass place!
