Hi all!
Remember Re-volt? I used to play it alot when it first came out, almost 10 years ago Recently I decided to install it again (via CrossOver on my Mac) and searched the internet for add-on's and came across some websites which offered extra cars and tracks, so i downloaded a few

Also found out that it's not hard to make skins for the cars One of my favorite cars is the "Puma" car, which includes a "paint kit" for it, which makes it extra easy to re-paint! So that made me decide to paint the "Puma" car in the same colors as the Revolution Racing LFS cars!

Anyway, let's get to the point! I've made a movie of a pretty close battle I had this evening with an AI, also driving the "Puma" car (the original one). The replay is of the last 4 or 5 laps (of a 10 lap race) on a track which I also downloaded, the "old" Hockenheim track. The replay is pretty laggy, sorry for that and the sound is pretty annoying too, so as I state in the first "annotation", I advise to turn it down (or off if you really can't stand it). in the annotations iv'e tried to put some comments on what's happening, which -in my opinion- makes the movie a bit more interesting to watch till the end

Sorry to kind of derail your thread, but does anyone remember a game called "POD" or something on the PC many moons ago. By god that was an awesome game! (No, it wasn't the star wars one, it was like.. the planet is going to explode and only the fastest drivers can get on the last ship out or something)

RC racing games are ok, but never really caught on, and for good reason imo.

VRC is pretty big/popular.. but it's a sim.. Re-Volt is arcade.. but let's stay ontopic please I didn't post to get it hi-jacked for a "games from the past rant.."

Re-Volt! sick game loads of fun hours spent, man good ol days

I only ever had the demo of that game, but wow did I spend hours playing that same track over and over...
