Do you think us Demo users should have the Scirocco in the new LFS rather than the Formula BMW? Because the Formula BMW is a race car, and if we had the Scirocco, we would have a car that probably has worse handling then that, plus the VW looks all around better anyway. Besides, VW might like that even more because more people would be using their car.


BTW, if it's called Live For Speed, how come all the demo cars are slow peices of crap? If it was Live For Speed, we would actually have cars that can at least hit 135 mph (or 225 kph).

I don't think the Scirocco should be included to the demo, if you moan so much about the cars being "slow pieces of crap" buy the licence, you get much "better" cars

When they announce the VW is included in LFS, it will make people buy S2 because it will have a real car. No point including the car in a non profit way.

You have three Great Cars, a GREAT variety of cars (a shopping trolley, a fun lil car to kick around, and a real race car for damn close racing) and still youre moaning.

Dude, stop complaining. Be glad you got all this stuff free. 3 cars, 1 environment with 3 tracks, and loads more features. If you want any more, you're gonna need to buy S2. the Demo is just a taste of what the full game is like. You expect to get the first Mass production car for free in the Demo?

The demo cars are crap because you don't pay for the priveledge of playing the game.

I'm sure the FBM would hit 135mph (Can't quite see why this figure is so important) on the BL straight with minimal downforce and a bit of a draft. Besides, it's not how fast you drive - It's how you drive fast.

wow. you guys down LFS demo users. i don't have plans on buying the S2 license right now, and im just saying that so all people who don't have any plans on buying a license can actually have a GOOD car. The XRG in here has trouble just getting to 115 mph, the XFG has the same problem, and the FBM's clutch always goes out, even if you shift right. Otherwise, you do have good points, but all because you have S2 licenses doesn't mean you have to rub them in others faces.

No-ones rubbing it in your face. It's just that you are asking for improved features at no extra cost to yourself (which, to me at least, is quite irritating, borderline rude).

The FBM provides good close racing, as do the XFG/XRG (I mean, look at CTRA Race 1 on a good day)

Never noticed a problem with the FBM's clutch myself, maybe change the gear-ratios.

ok. good point. i guess this is why NFS sucks a bit. maybe i should do that. try driving fast, and not see how fast i can drive. still. i would like to drive that VW. i don't have any money though, and to tell you the truth, im not allowed to play this on my computer, cause i'm borrowing a school computer. when i get my own, they said i can have LFS again. but i still play on a school computer.

or take off auto clutch, let off the gas, clutch in, shift up, gas again, and go! well, i'll just deal with it. besides, i think GTA San Andreas ruined my LFS playing. You see, i got a Bugatti Veyron mod for that could hit 236 (which was unreal), but the cool thing was the guy that made included a CLEO file. CLEO is an ability to make the cars of there do something different. In this cleo the Bugatti Veyron author made was that the spoiler could retract and contract. So, im going back to LFS permenatly.

yeah i know. im being butt hurt right now. i should think about the positives. the FBM is fast, great handling, and its easy to get a fast laptime. the XRG is a cool drift car, and if i set it up right, i can hit 120 mph. the XFG is a car that can easily roll, plus it's snippy! so, yeah. i have to say im sorry then. that was rude of me . so, sorry S2 licensed users.

No.

LFS is an online racing sim so it's probably a good idea that demo users get to drive an actual race car.

...and people will probably have a go at you as you not the first to ask for more stuff from the demo. It gets a bit repetitive after a few years of asking.

Its just we tend to get very tired of demo users asking more contend becaus LFS is qiute friendly compared to others sims wich prvide You a demo with one car and one track up to no demo at all

If the demo cars keep swapping around the Demoers will be able to keep the old patches and soon have like 1/2 of the S2 cars available to drive :rolleyes:

If you take a look at LfS' carpark, it all makes sense: 2 roadcars, representing the base tin-tops and the FBMW, representing the base open-wheeler... The beginner cars of both worlds featured in the demo - the introduction - to LfS...

Strangely enough, in Live For Speed S2 there are a lot of cars that can top that easily... I wonder why you haven't found them.... oh right.. because they cost 24 pounds... well, just like in real life - want to go fast, pony up the cash

It was part of the origianl agreement when they included the FBM that it be made freely available, so that's not changing.

Seriously, I think demo drivers should have all the cars and all the tracks. How else will they know whether they like the product? Oh, and it should be for an unlimited time as well so that that can properly assess it. THEY NEED TO BE SURE!
