Mmkay, I got the 60GB one a couple of months before they stopped selling them. I played CoD4 and TF2 obsessively for a long time and then stopped playing for a couple of months. After that it was Battlefield Bad Company that drew my attention back towards the PS3. Then Little Big Planet appeared and that provided plenty of laughs. Now, with CoD World at War arriving, I'm spending a lot more time online again... G2G play it now!

I bought mine today. It's the 160GB and came with a game called Uncharted Drake's Fortune. It's quite a lot of fun and I can't wait to get Pure, GTA IV and many other games. For now I'm poor so I will stick to that game for a while.

i got the 60 gb off ebay lol and it still workes nearly 12 months on , i have fifa 09 , gta IV , nfs prostreet ( Ducks in shame ) and tomb raider underworld

I got the 60GB when it was released (April 2007 I think), and now have GTA IV, CoD4, R&C: Tools of Destruction, Splinter Cell Double Agent, F107, Motorstorm, NFS Carbon, and just got Little Big Planet. A little disappointed with LBP to be honest, I can't see the attraction so far. I haven't gone online yet though, or even played multiplayer, going to go through SP first. Just finished the wedding level now.

As for the PS3 itself, it's well worth the money. Best game so far is either CoD4 or GTA IV, lots of laughs to be had online even with strangers. Met one guy over IV who said he'd exchanged a significant amount of cocaine with a guy in Scotland for his family kilt. Good times :rolleyes:

As long as you pay for the internet provided by your ISP then using the inter-webs on the PS3 is completely free.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is the best game for the PS3 IMO. The naughty dog team put together the perfect combination of story and game play into that little package. Some people complain because its not an open world, but it is that linear story that makes playing the game feel like it's a movie.

EDIT: Next year, I believe, Fall 2009 they are releasing a sequel, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The trailers are really interesting BTW.

Can't beat a bit of SingStar (SHUT UP! I KNOW YOU'RE LAUGHING!) too. Especially when beer'd.

LittleBigPlanet is interesting. The making-stuff-level-designer dooberry is cracking fun.

GT5p let me down a bit. Looked lovely, but didn't feel that nice on my G25.

That's F1 Championship Edition right? That's actually F106. Got it too. Don't like it much though. The steering is rather shocking. Hope codies do a better F1 game, sadly I just can't see them making anything near a sim. Finger's crossed they will prove me wrong.

I got the 80gb one for christmas. It's very good alround console. I have mine running through HDMI, on a 50 inch LG HD TV.

I just have the 40 one.
Mirrors Edge is the best game till now.
So freaking great concept, and so much fun to play.
