Hi,

My birthday is about in a month so before mom and dad buy anything I would like them to get me a PS3 game or three. What are the good titles on PS3 right now? I prefer racing & offroad games to pow-pow games.

That's among those which i played and recomend, there are also awesome games like Metal Gear Solid 4, Ratchet and Clank, Valkyria Chronicles, Resistance 2, Folklore etc...

And in two months.... the awesome Killzone 2!

Wipeout HD is an awesome game, and it's on offer on the PSN ATM (£11.99)

You have to get Assassin's Creed
but you can download demos of games from the PSN store, so give them a try and find what you like

You need more racing games

I only have GT5P and LBP right now, there's nothing much else on the PS3 list that I'm fussed about. Waiting for KZ2 and thinking about picking up a copy of Fallout 3.
I'd have picked up Midnight Club LA as well if it had just been racing and customising, but the special abilities turned me right off.

motor storm 2 is quite good. Mirrors edge is too.

Zone is probably best, it's a bit like the speedbraker on NFS but better

I may be shot for this, but Saints Row 2 is bloody (literally) great fun! Kicks the tar out of GTAIV imho. So much more psychotic, but ultimately light-hearted to play (not as brown and grey).

The only title I've ever played on the PS3... mostly because I just bought my PS3 last night, and only this game so far.

Little Big Planet is great
WipeoutHD is awesome, and as Dan says, it's back at it's release price atm.




As for Bobs suggestion, is that supposed to be the same as Ferrari Challenge but with more cars? I bought Ferrari Challenge a while back on the strength of the old arcade version, but after driving half a lap, i ejected the disc and took it back for a refund. Bloody awful it was, of course, this is in my opinion...

Cod 5 ftw

Games I got so far are Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and Pain. They both came with the bundle I bought and well, Drake's Fortune is kickass and Pain sucks.
