Hi. I finally got version Z for my computer, but i still have version X. anyway, my LFS now lags on blackwood, and i don't know why. it always lags by the pits, in the pits, and sometimes at the car park. It gets down to like 3.0 fps, and then i get a shadow error. is there any way i could fix this? please help. thanks!

What are you system specs?
There have been lots of graphical improvements in patch Z.

This is most likely down to an old graphics card.

The small graphical updates would not have caused a perfectly functioning version X to fail on version Z.

They do on mine, my FPS goes from 80 down to 20 on blackwood and south city (on my mums pc)

But on Patch X this doesnt happen

Can't say I've noticed, if anything my FPS went up from X -> Z with the improved graphics rendering yokey

On the BL carpark, where i usually race on a layout, i get about 65-70fps on one straight, and about 35-40fps on the other straight. It is a completely symmetrical oval track so no extra objects on one side or anything, its all identical. Strange how that happens.

South City comes more likely from patch y

Check the AA settings, somehow AA actually bumped my FPS up to like 350 from 80 :S seems to have been a bug :P

Ah, there used to be a bug in LFS where if you set AA to off in LFS, it appeared to be off, but your FPS stayed down. Maybe that's still going around?
