The online racing simulator
shit.. well we wont see that than.. coz world will end just before 2013
Quote from NightShift :Considering how most players seem to spend or have spent a lot of time in the demo, I can't really disagree with you.

That, and I don't really think the devs could be tricked in such a childish way anyway

i spent only one week in demo, i loved the game and bought it on 07/01/08, didn't found any sense on spending more time in demo
Quote from BlueFlame :Why do people make these speculation threads on ANYTHING to do with "S3". Just end it. Please.

If you've got nothing to contribute, why not just... not contribute?? Just let people discuss whatever they want to discuss, and if it doesn't interest you, ignore it and move on.
Quote from Michael Denham :If you've got nothing to contribute, why not just... not contribute?? Just let people discuss whatever they want to discuss, and if it doesn't interest you, ignore it and move on.

well said
It's a fair comment, but what also is a fair comment is this : Why bother making a thread if all it is, is spam? It clearly doesn't help anyone in any way. All it does it create bandwidth being used up when clearly it needn't be.

It's not a hardware question.
It's not a question about the game.
It's not a Formula One discussion.
It's not for fun (because guessing the price of a game that doesn't exist is fun?).
It's not even a question about the CURRENT LFS so why is it even in this part of the forum?
It's not relevant to anyone in ANY way. Even if it WAS going to be £100 you'd be able to save up enough money to buy it.
There is one thing that this thread IS and that is pointless.
It's relevant for the people that've posted.

Well I'm going to make a thread about Carrots and because it's reletive to ME means it isn't spam.
Developers decide Im ready to pay
Quote from BlueFlame :Well I'm going to make a thread about Carrots and because it's reletive to ME means it isn't spam.

ok, do it, i'll post in it

If a proportion of the thread finds something interesting about carrots to discuss, more power to you.
Quote from Dandy Dust :Hi Racers!

I have a dream.

I see myselft paying some 69,95 Euros or so for a Copy of LFS S3.

Maybe I´m a Dreamer, but I´m not the only one...

How much would YOU be ready to pay for

Your favorite online racing sim?

Greetings, Dandy

24.99

thats how much its worth and is going to be.
It should cost however much Scawen's newest baby weighs.
£6 and 2 shillings, in that case?
Imeant at time of release
of all the things I've paid for in my life, LFS has been the cheapest in dollars per minute. if S3 is only a few dollars more, I'll kind of feel like I cheated the devs but if they release some features that make S2 "obsolete" would anyone say they wouldn't pay a yearly fee?

I know I know terrible thought but then again, LFS has seemed like a total freebie for so long now.

then again you could say if they finish S3 they get to play the damn thing themselves, which is should we say more than money can buy

if it stays at S2 for the rest of time I believe I will still log in and have bumper to bumper heart pounding races
I don't want S3 to realease at this time, or 2 years from now. Because i'm just demo player and i will buy it on 14th. I am a uneversity student and have no visa. it's so difficult to bother my mom altough i have money to buy. but which way they will receive since i haven't visa ?

if it comes, i'll consider and reconsider many times to buy it at 12 pounds additionally

please be mercy, it's expensive here and I'm only one in Thailand that play this game. (plus one of my friend) and it isn't popular here. Gamers here play usa games and thai online game.
I could pay "7 markkaa"

= 7 finnish marks

But...48£ maybe
I Would go up to £50, But it depends what is included in S3 I Would probally pay £50 if there were 10 more cars, 10 more tracks, rain/night, Driver movement (Changing Gear), compared to A Xbox/PS3 game, LFS Is Very Cheap!
Quote from Jordan2007 :Driver movement (Changing Gear)

Why people would want this I don't know. It can not be done properly. There will always be some delay, as it's impossible for LFS to predict when you're going to shift. So it will never look good.
You say that Obsolum, but on games like TDU it's predicted fairly well... as the drivers arm moves in proportion to throttle position and engine revs. There are some games that are terrible, though, like Colin McRae Dirt, which would be better off without it completly. But yeah, some get it better than others. At best it's only a very slight delay and doesn't detract from the sim-racing experience.

yeah TDU does it pretty well, if you lift off the hand goes to the shifter and also when you go near the redline the hand moves
