So what Kid is saying is that either

a) We get the patch, and it's so exciting we all die
b) We get some more news, and the disappointment kills us all.
c) We get a post from Scavier saying it's been delayed
d) We get nothing but eery silence
e) We get a video of Vykos, Tweak, Kid, Scawen, Victor, Eric etc all playing at night with the LX8 on Westhill National in the rain with cars stalling and see through helmet visors and brilliant sounds and amazing handling and we, you guessed it, die of jealousy.

Either way it's not looking good for us.

It's not beyond what is possible in game graphics, this kind of effect has been around for ages. It doesn't feel like LFS but then again if the devs have a no photoshop policy it could be.

I think we've the solution to the guru problem: it points towards changing weather.

We have:
- "The Blackforest guru says: Better waste a minute in life than life in a minute."
- "...but who needs a minute in Blackwood?"

The second sentence rises two questions:
- "Who?"
"Who" needs to be part of the recipient group of the guru as it wouldn't make much sense otherwise. So it is most probably the reader.

- "For what?"
Let's look at the picture. It's B/W, which indicates, that this is an old state of BL. There is going to be a change (or there has already been one). So "what" is the new thing.

Summarized: You will need less than a minute for something new.

But looking further into the picture you notice the fog in there. What do you need to make fog go away: Right, the sun!
AFAIR there is no sun in LFS right now, so we got our new thing. But could we lose our life due to the sun?
Well, we cannot lose our life due to the sun, but due to rain! If you don't waste a minute on a pit stop, you might crash not in the first second - as it takes some time for the rain to make driving difficult - but sooner or later (or in a minute ) you do. But as you all know a pit stop doesn't take a minute on BL, which explains the second sentence.

Looks conclusive to me.

This patch better be the best thing in the world or A LOT of people are going to be, to say the least, let down. I dont think its a good idea to tease us like this because people always get their hopes up... and are all too often let down

I think the previews we've already seen are going to really improve the game. Who knows what more the patch will have? Either way its us impatient little kiddies that are getting so wound up over this.

We all know that the chances that this patch will have rainy racing, Night racing, a new car, or a new track (not just a new config) are slim-to-none.
