The online racing simulator
Sure, i'll host a server exclusively for you (us) guys!

monday sounds good to me, but if the patch is going to be released on 23:59 we might aswell do it on tuesday... my server has been online (quite successfully afaik) since last tuesday.

That's the only corner I get on with on that circuit!
I prefer Prato if it were my choice
nothing
Little hint: the FF setting works in the game if you just edit the contorls.ini file. It's the "SCALE" value. I put it to 30.0000 and then raised overall FF strength in the Profiler and now the horrid shaking isn't so harsh anymore. "FACTOR" value is linearity setting.

The tracks has some weird design in some places... like these bollards in Newbury 2002 layout? IRL that would be pretty deadly... I like the realistic graphical look of the tracks but they don't have soul like LFS tracks.

Wait, you have to go around those blocks??? (like to the right?) :zombie:
The blocks are only there if you use the 2002 Newbury layout. One the 2006 layout the blocks are removed.
Unfortunatley no sim seams to be able to get the hang of cones marking out the track and penalties for going on the wrong piece of track.

You either get:

a) Indestructable cones

or

b) Concrete blocks/tire walls in daft places (nk/LFS)
All I can say is, our LFS tracks would eventually look so much nicer once we get a proper penalty system. No more barrier walls on Blackwood chicane and FE Green chicane... aghh

gave nK Pro a try, and after finally working out how to start it, hated the lack of AIM and general feel, so im gonna try Racer instead!
Hi
I play the Demo first time last Night and for me its great.
There is a much potential and in Future Time it will be better and better.

The first time i play Lfs (S1) was 2003 or 04 and look how far its come since today. We got now S2 and it works great and makes much fun.

Good Simulation need Time.

*sry for bad my english

I already mentioned that it's 2002 layout... but actually I said "2000 layout" because of a writing typo.

Quote from Jakg :where the avatars gone?

this forum is too heavy with them currently.
Feels a lot more sane round here without avatars
Blasphemy !!

Harr, Madman is surely an evil poster :mischievo (reply #666)
nkp enviromental awareness, is so strong, that tyres are not needed to race anymore

nkp kunos scam buildup reports from 2 years ago, "For Kidcodea's pleasure now ca ... d when flipped ;-)." are qualified by pics like this one, 2 years after...

and the list goes on and on in huge threads. heres a devreport for the next year or two:

- "i have been trying to fix "no brainers" bugs. thanks for sponsoring with your money. your insatisfaction is a great motivanional thing for me."

see you in a couple of years with a magneto-rails sim that loads, or maybe not.

ps: after many delays this was aimed at xmas 2005 but a showstopping bug then made me release it only 4 months later in april...
I'll wait for the first comments Wink
