Hell i loved that car. It looked so much better when it was finished about a year later but a hard disk failure lost all my pictures

yeah ABS does sound like something is breaking. my dad got the ABS to activate on our van one time, and it sounded like we were running over something crunchy.

ABS is when the brake calipers, or the brake pads (however you put it)rapidly hit the brake disc in order to avoid the wheels locking up instantly. it still provides a lot of braking power though. that is where that crunch sound comes from.

I get how it works, I just didn't expect it to be as loud as it was, but I only got ABS to come on once and given it was my first time driving on ice/snow/slush I don't think I did all that badly.
