I would find an 'undo the last setting change' handy.
When I'm tuning the carsettings, I sometimes forget what the previous value was, in case of a change that doesn't work the way I want. And I want to get back to the setting I previously had.

+1. Excellent idea, but you could just make a new setup which is based on old one

I think that it's implemented.... I can't play LFS now so it maybe is only a Back button...

But if you want it, just back up your original setup...

There's an undo button but it only works as long as you haven't saved the set yet.

Why not do it the simplest way?

Instead of automagically saving the setup you selected to drive, have LFS create a new 'temporary' setup file that you use.

That would reduce restoring original files by 100%. Then there's a button that will let you save the setupfile to a new file or as the original file.

All problems gone. They are all caused by LFS simply saving the settings to the file you selected without giving you a warning whatsoever.
