For some reason my LFS.exe won't start properly. I havent altered anything in the files lately and have been running it as normal - but now when i start it up i just get a black screen without the LFS logo, the toolbar is still showing and my cursor disappears....? I haven't done anything different - it just doesn't seem to want to open.
Has anyone else had this problem - i would be grateful for a solution asap!

(As a last resort i will make a new LFS.exe but that takes me ages to do the settings again - i'd rather find a solution to my current problem first)

You don't have to re-do your settings, just backup all the important folders, config files and stuff, then delete and install a new copy. Then just copy and paste the backed up files/folders.

You could even try just copying and pasting a new version of the lfs.exe file.

nope copying doesn't work - i just tries it.
i don't know why it's suddenly playing up - everything has been like normal and i turn it on now and it won't work. Jesus flippin' christ.

That's what happens when things break. They are workin fine then, boom, they break and don't work.

Your best bet would be to backup, delete and install a new copy of LFS.

Just to make sure install lfs somewhere else, don't need to unlock, all you want to do is see if it runs.

i try restarting the PC tommorrow. Now ive given up and going to utube...

Ever thought of installing the latest graphics drivers, or trying a different resolution.. failing that do a system restore. If not, it's likely your PC has broken/is breaking.

ive noticed ive started getting the black screen without anything on it for about 10 seconds when i startup LFS since upgrading to patch Z10. But after 10 seconds it runs like normal
