hello fellow racers

i purchased a g25 yesterday after many years of playing the LFS demo and the other week getting S2 heh

i should be receiving it by wednesday and just wanna know if there is anything i need to do in advanced from getting it, like should i get newer drivers than whats in the box, little problems ill face, anything that i need to know that will make things easier when im setting up the wheel

Everything from the box worked for me, no need to update drivers.
Preparation: Check your table / desk will be suitable for the clamping system.
If you want to reduce noise / vibrations it is a god idea to place a thin rubber like pad between the wheel and the desk surface (similar to what cushions tables or holds carpet in place on wooden floors)
Read the LFS wiki section for setting up the wheel and apply according to the screenshots, it works perfectly for a start.

Get ready to see you laptime plummet to unexpected levels if you used mouse or keyboard before!

and yeah i been using keyboard for about a year then changed to mouse / keyboard combo, cant wait.. i hope its worth it all heh
