Quote from Bose321 :is it coming on the PC? if not, tha game sucks

+1

Seriously now, I really think it should come to PC... altought it looks just terrible in some screens, in some other it just looks amazing...
Got this the other day, it's like TDU with customisation and I love it. Made the ultimate Focus RS lookalike chavmobile too...

Seriously, buy this instead of NFS. At least the physics in this "make sense", even if they're not realistic.

What i don't like about this game is the parts you get to use for customization. Wheels, steering wheels, seats, etc... all ok. But when it comes to bodykits, it falls short. For some of the cars you have "real life" bodykits, but in most cases, they are fantasy kits called "midnight club custom". And they look like rockstar has hired a few people who dropped out of design school to design them.

Most of my cars are stock, except for the wheels and interior.
True, but they're no more ugly than normal bodykits anyway. The interior design is pretty cool though.

To me they are. The kits for the Ducati sports bike are a good example... they must have been smoking crack when they made those.
Hey, i love this game, so much fun, i dont think im anywere completing it atm.. some pics, They are photoshopped..

@Furiously-Fast
imo i wouldnt even bother getting NFS, from most of the reviews they rate it at 3-6/10, and my mate has it already and says its no where near as good as MCLA, but hey, thats just my and their opinions..

NFS:U2 was actually reallllly good. NFS Most Wanted was good as well
why such a game will obviously not be released on the pc is beyond me.
Quote from Biohazard :why such a game will obviously not be released on the pc is beyond me.

They said GTA4 probably wouldn't be released on the PC, so they could yet make a PC version of MCLA. The problem is that it has some slow down and pop up problems on the consoles, so imagine what it would be like on the PC.

Screw those reviews. PSX gave it a 8, and 1UP gave it a B. Only things I'm worried about are the framerates, and the easy difficulty. Other than those probs, it should be a Most Wanted 2 kinda thing.
I agree with FF on that ^

But, back OT, here's my "Skully" Skyline that i've put into "Rate My Ride"

I think its at... 4.33 / 10 ...

ive got me an ps3 so in christmas present i got mc:la and its got nice graphics just a shame that my tv is a shit
burnout it, and love t lots. love it like GT5 arcade version!
Is there much of an online community for this?

I am tempted to pick a copy up, but I'm still not convinced by the special abilities part. Might be a little too heavy on the "bling" factor for me. I wish there was a demo.
I must confess that i've never played this online. I believe ATC Quicksilver has mentioned it is great fun tho.

It's just... it's one of those games where i really don't want to meet the "community". Just look at "rate my ride"... i don't want to meet those people online.

What i like about this game is the cars and customization options... the driving in traffic... the highway races... photo mode... and ummm... that's it actually.

I would still play it, if the races wouldn't be so damn frustrating. Most of the time spent with this game was car tuning and photo mode. The actual races kept me busy for about half a day... until i couldn't be bothered anymore.

It's a great game... somehow. But its lasting appeal isn't all that great IMO.
Well the hell with that then. I have Forza 2 for that and at least it comes with the option of decent racing too

I guess I'll be waiting for Forza 3 or maybe Race Pro (depending on how that goes). I like racing games where the racing is the most popular feature

whats your gamer tag? we can race sometime
Here's a custom paint job I made, took a while. The challenger is the only classic dodge in the game, but here it is anyway.

Do YOU recognise it? If you don't, where have you been all your life?

Oh no! Its the Dukes of Hazzard!
I was bored, so I played MC:LA for a short time, just to do a 5 min rep, customise a SVT Focus into the RSconcept!

should that thing at the front really come out of the grill?
Quote from BastianB :should that thing at the front really come out of the grill?

Well... um, no. May be a little rice, but makes it look faster. ( I maxxed out the engine too!)
South Central came out ages ago, and I still ain't got it, lol. and wtf have you done with the wheels on the RR?
