Recording Software?
Is there a software that lets you record audio coming from the computer while recording audio coming from a mic at the same time? (i.e. recording an ingame sound while picking up commentary as well)

If someone can please give me that software name i'd appreciate it
i think there is a program about(well i suspect several) that take several outputs and put them to one simulated input then you could just use audacity, im not sure of any programs that can do it alone

If you're using talk programs like Ventrilo you can record sounds, think it both records in and out.. But again, that is depended of if you are online and on VT.. would be nice knowing a program that not nessesary is a chat program.
You can just record normally using Windows voice recorder thingy. Just record this and use FRAPS or something to record the game and then just overlay it.
My soundcard (an Audigy 1) has a "What U Hear" setting. If you choose that as your recording source it'll grab everything that's coming out of the speakers, including any game sounds and microphone inputs.

But I would suggest doing it in stages and adding any commentary later. It makes a far more professional package. Live is cool, but if you run out of things to say or repeat the same phrases over and over it'd get boring quickly.

Can you explain exactly what you're trying to do? I have lots of experience with this, and I know a few tricks. One requires the use of two computers. But I need to know exactly what you are trying to do and why you're doing it before I explain.
TY for the responses guys

Ok there's two options I want to explore:

1. Recording a ingame sound while picking up the chat from a microphone
2. Recording a two way conversation with one software
