You could benefit alot as well, I hark back to the thing in the Scirocco thread.

That said, this is not the appropriate place (nor really an appropriate video) to be posted here - Some call it trolling.. the least you could have done was put it in the off topic section.
Excelent, some good points there, specially like the part where he speaks about fanboys and teenagers hehe
Agreed S14, this should really be in off topic, as i see no lfs content?

Speedy!

That video is appropriate to all forum users, not just the LFS forum users. But I see your point. Although I'm sure everybody knew those rules anyway: it's hard to avoid if you've spent more than a month on any forum. Some people just choose to break these "laws" because:

They're "Step 4".
Or they're following Godwin's law to the bitter end.

That video just states the obvious.

True, but people never learn, and the kids/teenagers are the worst.

Actually, what people should do is to report people who harras other over internet to their ISP company, most ISP company has rules against behaving bad over internet. The company I work for have with several situations shut-down some services for custommers that has recived complains about behaving bad on the internet.
Would be fun with a more strict "internet" lul, tho it never will happend, and at least not with the people that currently using it.

In real life people are tolerant of kids over-enthusiastic and perhaps immature behavior, but not on teh internets, its funny how as soon as people get on the www they suddenly completely lose their ability to suffer fools.

Regulating teh internets sounds all very lovely, but people are bound to abuse the power to 'shut people down' if they are given it.
True, and it's not a fair statement of me. Many people are still, or, let's just say that age has little to do with it, but the chance for a young user of internet to behave bad is bigger than with a senior user.

But that however doesn't say that grown ups behaves good on internet.. good lord, did peek into the official newspaper's forum here in Norway today, darnit so many idiots trying to talk politics I wanted to stab them in their eyes while screaming Fu3.

Of course this just was a dream, but boy I somewhhat wanted that dream to be real, to be able to smack those filthy-abusing-troll-hoarders of internet in their face with a big fish while screaming "WHO'S YOUR BOSS NOW HU!?!?! WHO'S YOUR BOSS NOW?=!=?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Rofl ok chill pill or whatever, and I talk completely of topic, sorry, but why canot people somewhat just.. bah be ok?
Although slightly scary but also justifiable, the above quote is approved by my signature.

Because in real life you have to consider how you'd make that person feel. If you tell the 7 year old off in RL as you would on the internet, they'd grow up to be a very strange person indeed.

On the internet, because of the anonymity, people just talk willynillly knowing they'd never have to meet person X in RL, ever.

Let 'em get on with it, I say. Giving them attention is just what they want.. so why give them it?

True true.

Yus, but the forum 'adults' are always perfectly happy to reply to a certain enthusiastic member's many threads, and so giving said person undue attention.
