I may have spoken too soon, saying you'll definitely be put on the waiting list. However, there are 30 teams in the test event already, competing for 9 spots. I feel that teams in the test event, and teams who showed interest earlier, may get added consideration relative to teams who applied too late to make the test race.

As a side note, if any of the teams currently slated to appear in the test race cannot make it, you guys will be welcome to attend.
