I have an idea.

Lets do BL3 with TBO and STD cars, with no layout.
Then we will do a 10 minute DD, and the people that can still drive and still are on the car park after 10 get 1 point.
And no pitting allowed during the DD.

Probably not possible because of the lack of an insim. :\

Here is the better version of the cadet track...

Shame my connection's going loopy again, because I WAS looking forward to a good few hours or so of DD.

But that's not what's made me stop for tonight.

It's the fact that some people think it's awesome when they're going at like 110mph the wrong way and blasting into people so they go 90 miles off the track.

Also, whenever we're on a track BESIDES KY1 (or FE1R, but it still happens), some are going "omg change to oval", and when we're on it, what do they do? Decide to either a) go the wrong way, mostly on the straight or b) do a roadblock on the straight and wreck people's races. One person told me to "learn to dodge noob" and actually thought it was fun to do it (:shrug. Well no thanks, because if you want to act stupid then go on another server.

Just wish we could actually have some good, sensible DD racing for once... like it was a few months back; people racing while hitting, not just plain wrecking.

TVE, this post isn't directed at you, but instead at those who just want to wreck everyone regardless of what the server is about.

Keep up the DD nights TVE.

(P.S. I've got half term in a few weeks time so I'll get some layouts done as well. ATC you've got some good ones as well. )

I am really fed up by it, and of course I could dig up and find the command to put people into spec for that, but that's not the point, the point is that I yet have to actually ban anyone from the server, because I don't want to. I want us to just chill and have a great time, with wrecking, laughs and shit, just as long as it's all going in the same direction.

Oh and please stop spamming, it's really anoying, and I have better things to do than kicking people for spamming. The time used for this could be spent on having a laugh about someone misfortune when screwing up on a jump lol.

You actually made me log off earlier than I wanted today, I just got fed up by the huge amount of silly spamming, wrong way driving and disgusting behaviour from some of the members, but I thought "hey! Maybe it's just me having a bad day", so instead of banning like the 8 people I wanted to ban I logged off to get some air and cool my head down.

I'm not asking for much, I am just asking for a joyfull time. I don't want to be strict admin, that has to make all kinds of rules, but if people don't start listening to what I actually say on the server, or follow the 1 - rule and generally behaviour rules, you might be the first one to get banned from the server.

Oh and for the ones testing me out with spamming "**** YOU" 20 times in chat, seriously. I don't want to ban you because then you have won, because I guess that is what you wanted, but instead of people had to listen to your spam for a minute before you left the server. In future please do not do actions like this again.

It's bottering to see people spamming and generally behave bad towards eachothers on a server meant for fun.

One guy (won't say his username) was constantly going around the wrong way on the Fern Bay track trying to blast people off who were racing around. Apparently, according to him, that happens in Destruction Derby.

There seems to be a misinterpretation of what the term "Destruction Derby racing" actually means. "Destruction Derby racing" is about getting to the finish line first while holding off your competitors, who are trying to take you out in any way they can. "Destruction Derby racing" is NOT about trying to kill people's cars by going the wrong way on the track or blocking up the front straight. That's called WRECKING. "Destruction Derby racing" is also NOT about avoiding everyone and just racing it around the track. That's called NORMAL RACING.

I think I know what you're trying to say S14, and I agree to that.

Whenever TVE isn't doing his DD nights, he should just put on Kyoto Oval with a layout. That way, some of the server population will be happy blocking each other on the front straight and going the wrong way at 150mph, killing their cars in the process.

But a round of applause for TVE though for keeping his patience and not banning anyone through these times.:clapclap:
