okay so i downloaded this skin....

the file was called XR GTR_MFP_Int.col
..i put it in my skin folder in DATA and nothing shows up.
what do i do???

You can't use it, it's for a car you only get when you buy a S2 licence.

are there any skins for demo cars? that i can download?

i couldnt find anyone posting their files... thats whhy i was asking.

You can find skins that are made and possibily already uploaded on LFSW in the skins section of the forum.

You can't upload skins unless you have at least an S1 licence.

If you download a skin and intend to use it online, unless the skin has already been uploaded to LFSworld by the original maker, and that the file names match exactly then nobody else apart from you will be able to see it. Other racers will only see a white car. Demo racers cannot upload skins to LFSworld, you need s1 or s2 to upload skins mate.

If you post the skin on here and give the file name that it's saved as, (if you post it as an attachment then it will not keep its original filename) i will upload it for you, that way it will work. I have done some tidying and i have some free slots.

EDIT, , i got the file name from your original post, but i cannot open the .col file.

a .col file aint an image file

.col is a file witch tell the game when there is a colision

i dont think lfs use .col soo this file is nothing for lfs ...

.../lfs/data/colours/ folder contains .col files. They define what colours and skins are applied to cars in your garage.

Lol it would be an idea not to assume that different games have the same file-types.

S14 drift, same EXTENSIONS, not same types.
Just because .COLor and .COLlision. Same first 3 letters.

.vob = video object (DVD), virtual object (infinite bue), 3D mesh (Live for Speed).

I even seen a game where .fbi was texture
