Hah, this is were our taxes are going - For some fat man wearing a sweaty T-Shirt and a baseball cap to sit at his PC and troll Google Earth for drug plantations! :woohoo:
For some strange reason, that location now shows "image not available"
"The driver was understandably upset, and promptly stopped to alert the local police and the Street View team at Google."

What the hell are the police supposed to do, give the deer a ticket for jaywalking?

I don't know if this is a local myth or true but in these situations in Scotland it goes as follows.

1) Driver who had hit the deer has the responability to go and check if the animal is alive or not.

2) If alive then local police to be contacted, if dead then the driver can contact local police or get back in car.

3) If you happen to come across a Deer killed on the road by road car.......rule of Finder's Keeper's comes into play.
3) come to the roadkill gril, "you kill it, we grill it!"

I thought the law was that the person who hits it can't take it home, but the first person to come across if after it's been hit can take it home and cook it.. omnomnombambi...
